Once an imbecile, always an imbecile. Even including the assassination attempt, and his convention, you could tell traitor Tot was disgruntled. Because while the majority of the coverage featured him, othen than his acceptance speech, he wasn’t the star.
Then a week later, his nemesis, President Biden, turned the presidential race on its ear by doing the unthinkable, at least for His Lowness, and voluntarily gave up power. Suddenly the Democratic party was transformed into a national Mardi Gras, and Vice President Kamala Harris was getting almost as much wall-to-wall coverage in the media as Covid did. Something had to blow.
And today it did. Mount St. Donald finally blew his top. The site of the eruption was the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago. And the campaign has to be absolutely thrilled with El Pendejo ex Presidente’s performance. The Harris campaign that is. Advisors on the Trump campaign aren’t doing damage control either. Mainly because they’re all busy writing out Goodbye cruel world! letters, and opening upper floor windows. This showing alone should cost him at least five points among soft and independent voters.
Here’s why this is such a disaster for the campaign. They gained nothing, and worse yet, their candidate didn’t look like a babbling idiot for once. Instead he looked like that belligerent drunk at the end of a bar on a Friday night. Itching for a fight, and ready to say or do anything to get one. And he did.
This was a classic example of a pure d*ck move by Trump. For the last 10 days now, Kamala Harris has been cuffing him around like an overly enthusiastic puppy. And after those 10 days, if he couldn’t bite his black woman owner, then he’d bite any black woman who happened to walk by. And so he did.
This was The Trumpster Fire at his worst and most toxic. The three women in the panel onstage actually made a tactical error. They thought that they were pinning Il Douche to the wall with tough questions, but they were actually throwing gasoline into the dumpster.
Trump was clearly itching for this fight, and enjoyed every minute of it. He insulted his female hosts, calling them nasty women. He gleefully spread sexist, racist tropes and innuendos, and was more than happy to mix it up with the audience. If these lowlifes wanted to shovel him some sh*t, he’d throw it right back in their faces.
Here’s why this was such an unmitigated disaster for the Trump campaign. Trump has been pretty much absent from major media, other than for his acceptance speech. But today, he finally reached a national television audience, for almost an hour. The problem for the campaign is that he reached the wrong f*cking audience! there’s no way that Trump’s racist base is going to waste an hour watching him argue back and forth with a bunch of black women on a stage. Especially when Duck Dynasty is on.
Which is what makes it such a crown jewel for the Harris campaign. Other than his acceptance speech, which didn’t garner great ratings either, Trump has been pretty much ignored, not only by the national media, but by most voters as well. And in one 50 minute interview, on national television, The Cheeto Prophet graphically reminded the voting population of exactly why they hate his ever loving guts!
This wasn’t some rambling, addled Trump talking about boat batteries and sharks, this was the stone cold, focused dictator wanna be, laying it all out on the line. I didn’t see a single word that The Scruffy Guru said today that wasn’t centered and focused. In 50 minutes of racist claptrap, every voter had a flood of memories come back as to what a living nightmare those four years were. And now he wants to do it again.
I’ve written that for the last 10 days, Kamala Harris has been living rent free in Trump’s empty head. Check that. Right now she’s charging him a branding fee for the privilege of living there. She did it again last night in her Atlanta rally, when she ridiculed him for backing away from the debate while insulting her personally. She taunted him with a sarcastic If you have something to say Donald, just show up and tell it to me to my face!. which had the crowd roaring. She’s got the shiv in just right, and as long as she keeps twisting it, look for more self destructive d*ck moves to follow.

Caught this later, after it was over, and had to pause it over and over again while I sputtered and laughed over the orange fool on stage trying to mix it up with three very highly skilled journalists and an audience full of journalists. Mixed race folks identify themselves in ways that work for them and frankly, that right belongs to them and not to those looking in and trying to use their identity for nefarious purposes. My daughters identified themselves as black (they were biologically black, white and native american) because this is how they saw themselves and it was their personal choice. No one else had a dog in that fight.
Re the law school shit? She didn’t pass the first time; and neither did about 50% of those who took the exam that year. California has an incredibly difficult, even some say, ridiculously unfair and not a good measure of one’s capability to practice law, bar exam. She never lied about it nor should she feel the kind of shame he was trying to heap on her. Crikey but he had to be sent to a military school because he was an impossible student and it was the last hope for his father to keep him out of trouble. Just sayin’.
He’s flailing and have to agree with you: not sure how long his advisers are going to last, but be clear on this, any he manages to agree to advise him will be far worse, less skilled, and even more MAGA driven. And the more he skews toward satisfying MAGA, the better it is for Kamala—independents and undecideds are watching this entire shit show and his campaign is driving them off. This will only get worse.
