The Republican penchant for ugly nativism and blatant racism are rarely more on display than when they discuss the small ethnic Somali community in Minneapolis, Minnesota or its Congressional Representative, Ilhan Omar. And ugly itself is rarely more on display than when dimestore Dracula and Joseph Goebbels impersonator Stephen Miller darkens a television screen to talk about anything. Last evening Miller fluttered onto the set of Laura Ingraham’s Fox News hour-of-hate television program to discuss the Kamala Harris/Tim Walz ticket and their supposed plans to make the entire state of Minnesota more like the capital of the North African nation for the benefit of some 40,000 Somali Immigrants and their by now thoroughly Americanized progeny.

“Former President Donald Trump’s adviser Stephen Miller blew up Tuesday on Fox News in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ Philadelphia rally with her new running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz — and suggested the duo wants to turn America into Somalia’s capital city.

He is the biggest booster in the whole country for unlimited refugee resettlement,” fumed Miller, an infamous anti-immigrant crusader who was behind some of the Trump administration’s most controversial anti-migrant policies and now runs a legal group suing over government policies intended to promote racial equity. “That means under the Harris/Walz plan, they’re going to turn the entire Midwest into Mogadishu.”

“That’s their plan,” he added. “That’s their policy. I don’t think there’s a market for that in the United States of America.”

Uh, Steve, I don’t think there is a market for that even in the Somali diaspora in Minneapolis, let alone the United States as a whole. Somalis immigrated here in the first place to escape the violence, deprivation and civil strife endemic in their homeland, and while they are likely to favor more Somali restaurants in their neighborhoods (as would I) I doubt many would back a Mogadishu makeover for one of the nation’s most livable cities.

Republican propagandists also made a big flap over Governor Walz’ replacing the Minnesota flag with its state seal depicting a colonizing sodbuster to something less offensive, alleging that Walz was replacing it with a more Somali design, which was, of course, utter nonsense also…

But mere truth will not deter weirdos like Miller from spreading hate.

    You know miller, instead of looking for spray-on hair treatments, you ought to look for some decent schooling so you perhaps would stop and think before you make truly moronic statements.

  6. Stephen Miller may resemble a human being but I have to wonder. In another age, Miller who’s of Jewish heritage would have been a “Kapo” in a concentration camp, herding fellow Jews into the gas chambers. Then beating other Jews to carry out the corpses and bury them in mass graves or shove them into the cremation ovens.

    He can’t get over the thwarting of his scheme to create a new form of slavery in the United States via his policy of ripping children, sometimes babies away from their mothers. To disappear without record and grow up conditioned to be servants or worse. Like sex slaves. No documentation. Even if somehow they found the will and means to escape what then? Limbo. And just like in the bad old days of actual slavery often returned from what they thought had been safety back to their “masters.”

    Bear in mind that when the evil version of the Keebler Elf Jeff Sessions became the first Senator to endorse Trump he quickly realized how little Trump knew about how to go about being a candidate. That Trump would need someone to guide him through a basic education on basic stuff he’d have to do. So he detached Miller from his staff to be that person.
