For the second day in a row Dotard drumpf has appeared on camera this morning complaining that police have cordoned off the streets to prevent his supporters from gathering in the area of the Manhattan Courthouse where a hearing is being currently conducted on his persistent violations of the gag order imposed on him to prevent his continual disparagement of the principals and witnesses of the trial, and, once again, and I know this comes as a shocker, he is brazenly lying about the interest and potential participation in said protests and claiming there would be massive attendance if not for police interference:


(Interesting to see he’s back to wearing a red tie, perhaps he thought yesterday’s blue on was too low energy.

Travis Gettys at Raw Story has the story:

“Donald Trump encouraged his supporters to show up outside the courthouse where he’s standing trial, and he falsely suggested they might meet with resistance from police…

… “People that want to come down and protest at the court and they want to protest peacefully,” Trump said outside the courtroom. “We have more police presence here than anyone has ever seen. We’re blocked – you can’t get near this courthouse.”

However, NBC News reporter Vaughn Hillyard was outside the courthouse as Trump was speaking, and he recorded video of the scene that showed the ex-president’s claims were false.

“Trump just claimed that the police have shut down the streets around the courthouse for blocks & that his protesters can’t be here,” Hillyard said. “Just…not true.”

Now, we all know that Cornholeone will lie about anything, anyplace at anytime, but it seems really stupid to lie about brigades of police officers and clamoring, jousting demonstrators that can be easily demonstrated not to exist.

But then again, his targeted audiences for these pronouncements are not rational people, but his slack-jawed supporters tuning in from across flyover land.

Got to protect that ego.

Of course Trump can’t be prevented from speaking on camera during breaks in his trials, but attempts by him to incite other crowds to doing his bidding, as on Jan. 6th 2021, should perhaps be considered more closely.

A demogougue with the ability to rouse his followers to violence needs to be watched carefully.

    • The major news organizations should chip in a little each to stick cameras on the streets outside the courthouse. One in front to the main street entrance with two additional cameras aimed down the street in either direction. And three more cameras, one each for the streets bordering each side, and also the back of the building. Put all six on a streaming website where all a person has to do is click on any image to make it full screen, and click again to reduce it so the user can look at other feeds. Should be a snap and could be set up tonight!

      Then when Trump tells his lie again CONFRONT him with it! Hold up a tablet with that live feed running and hold it so he can see it. And ask him how, with the traffic going back and forth he can so blatantly LIE about something that it’s been, and is at the very moment being proven to be a lie!
