Look, I’ll admit it, maybe I’s just too f*cking old, but I just don’t get it. We all make mistakes. And sometimes we make the mistake of trying to cover up those mistakes. But at some point or another, when the evidence comes in, and damns us to hell, we at some point or another finally confess to our sins, slink off with our tail between out legs, and wait for forgiveness.
So I’ve got to ask you all, right out in the open, What the f*ck is up with Clarence Thomas?! As an associate Supreme Court Justice, Thomas is strutting around like a 4 y.o. that has no understanding of what the word evidence means. And just keeps kicking his feet and screaming that he didn’t eat the goddamn cookie.
Let’s just say that you happen to have a drunken affair one night while your wife is out of town visiting her sister. She comes home and sees lipstick on your collar, and smells sex on your clothes. You tell her she’s imagining things. A friend tells her he saw you going into a motel with another woman. You tell her he’s a filthy liar. He shoots her a text with a photo of you grabbing some woman’s ass as you stagger into the motel room. What’s your defense? Who are you going to believe? ME, or your lying eyes?
This isn’t a joke. Clarence Thomas. Substitute the word gifts for the word woman, and you pretty much summon up the entire Supreme Court career of Clarence Thomas. Thomas is the worst joke in the world, in bad taste, and yet he just stoically sits there, that vapid smile on his face, and shrugs. Because he knows that nobody can touch him. And his wife will never leave him, since Chubby Ginni is as greedy and soulless as he is.
Thomas has been on the bench for more than 20 years, bit since nobody was really looking, his bogus disclosure statements went largely unnoticed. The House and Senate Judiciary Committees pretty much took for granted that the justices were being honest and forthright in their filings. Never were they more wrong.
Let’s just take a brief look at some of Thomas’s outrages;
- Thomas had a rich GOP mega donor friend pay for multiple years of his adopted nephew’s private school and college education
- Thomas got a loan for a 40 foot motor home from another GOP mega donor friend. Apparently Thomas has no understanding of the word loan, since he reportedly repaid $20,000 in interest before the rest of the loan was forgiven
- Thomas’s long time friendship with GOP mega donor Harland Crow reads like a chapter in Civic Corruption 101. Crow purchased three pieces of property Thomas owned, at above market value, including the house that Thomas’s mother lives in, which he rehabbed, all while his mother continues to live there rent free
- Crow is nothing if not a generous friend. On a SCOTUS summer break, Crow fronted Thomas and his wife his private luxury jet to fly off to the Adriatic, where the flabby if happy couple spent nine days cruising the Greek Islands on Crow’s private mega yacht. The congressional budget office set the value of that trip at some $300,000 if Thomas had booked the trip himself. Not to mention that private travel loke private jets and luxury yachts is exempt from the hospitality rule in the judicial ethics law
Former Federalist Society President Leonard Leo created a scam with former Trump legal advisor KellyAnne Conjob to funnel more than $100,000 to Thomas’s wife, Ginni’s company for undisclosed consultations and services. Leo was stupid enough to send a series of transparent, self serving texts to Conjob to make the ultimate recipient of the cash perfectly clear
This is the part that my old ass doesn’t get. Look, I’ve never stolen or killed, but I’ve lied a time or two in my life, and I always felt like sh*t for getting caught at it. But with these two soulless ghouls, as long as they get to live phat, they could care less what any of the rest of think about them. Because they’re the ones cruising the Greek Islands in return for judicial favors, not our dumb asses.
Clarence Thomas is an associate Justice of the Supreme Court. They are tasked with telling the other 325 million of us exactly what the laws are that we must follow. But how do we trust the word of an associate justice that is willing to whore himself in ways that none of the rest of ourselves could live with? Supreme Court justices are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard than the rest of us, to prove their probity and honesty. But Thomas and his dingbat wife are running around with For Sale signs around their necks. As long as Clarence Thomas sits on the Supreme Court, there is no justice.
Clarence Thomas is just the sort of person that actually enjoys putting a spanner in the works knowing you can’t do anything about it. If you review his career, I think you’ll find that he is not overly fond of these United States; but we now understand that he is extremely fond of himself and wife Ginny. John Blake, CNN journalist, says that black people despise Thomas not because he’s a conservative, but because he’s a hypocrite and a traitor.

Something can be done about thomas, alito, and the rest for ethics problems, lying, etc. Legislators need to be elected who will craft laws that will bind the s.c. to a code of ethics with violations resulting in removal from the court. It is appalling the s.c. thinks it is not bound to an ethics code just as the rest of the federal courts are. Obscene really.
It is as if these fools are daring the country, Congress, the Executive branch, to do something thinking we won’t. I think we need to take them up on this dare.
At the very least thomas needs to be removed immediately (I believe impeachment is allowed) and his wife arrested and tried for her role in the j-6 insurrection.
The Constitution states that Justices “shall hold their Offices during good Behavior.”
“Good behavior” rules out removal simply because you don’t like their decisions, but Thomas doesn’t meet that standard, his behavior has been very bad. It makes a strong case for impeachment, but let’s face it, not with the congress we have now.

It is depressing and frightening that these fools (alito, uncle tom, etc.) will be deciding some cases the results of which will make it very dangerous to live in this country (i.e. the Rahimi gun case). They claim to be “originalists” but throw that concept out when it goes against their ideas that only white xtian males have any and all rights in this country.
His non disclosure statements look horrible and yet the supremes are fine with it all. Just like some politicians we the people do not include 98% of Americans. He’s living so high on the hog he doesn’t know how or care to get down. If we had the House, Senate and Whitehouse, they still wouldn’t kick him out. They all wish they had friends like that. Sometimes it’s really us & them and I think they will always take care of their own.
Time for the revolution to start perhaps. It seems like unless we get rid of the wealthiest people/corporations in this country, we will continue to be a downtrodden people getting more and more trampled every day. And by corporations I am including the big business of religion–those f*ckers need to be taxed, out of existence if at all possible.
Just a note, Murf. Where you wrote that Thomas has been “on the bench for more than 20 years,” you are correct–except it’s actually more than 30 years. He assumed office on October 23, 1991 so a total of 32 years. I’m guessing you hit the 2 when you meant 3 *OR* you got the wrong Bush responsible for the dullard.

Hey, cut George H.W. Bush some slack. It wasn’t easy to.find a Black conservative judge to replace a bastion of decency like Thurgood Marshall,especially one should stay bought.
The only box thomas checked off was that he was a black man. Thurgood Marshall was a legal giant but he was replaced with a mental midget and a disgusting and perverted one at that.
