We’ve all been waiting with baited breath for Rudolph Giuliani, once a cultural cult figure in America and now a disgraced MAGAt, who will forever more be associated with his image at the Four Seasons Landscaping Company, imploring the heavens to make the results of the 2020 presidential election be something other than what they were, to speak out about his disbarrment. The former mayor waited all day to do so, but it was worth the wait, because it’s as batshit as you would expect. And it has one thing in common with Donald Trump’s running commentary: they’re both victims, neither one of them ever did anything wrong. The level of denial is what you would expect. Less than 1% of the Bar ever gets disbarred. It’s a tiny minority and it takes a lot to get disbarred. But Rudy managed to do it.
You knew there wasn’t going to be any self reflection or remorse. Nobody knows what Rudy’s next steps will be. His best shot is to get on Dancing With The Stars or some kind of an America Has Talent show. The Cameo gigs have pretty much dried up and he’s off the air at WABC. His podcast is not exactly pulling in tons of cash and last we knew about his coffee company, that was a relabeling of somebody else’s bean and nothing original.
What does that leave? I think Rudy should open up an Italian restaurant. Seriously. He could wait tables and cook and sing opera. Trump could come by and bring his family (well, okay, not bring his family. They don’t want anything to do with him) and they can both cry in their beer together.

And nobody, but nobody, would give a rats azz what happens to Rudy next but for the fact that everybody wants to see Shaye Moss and Rudy Freeman get their judgment paid. That’s all that anybody decent cares about.
My guess is that this is going to give the bankruptcy judge a profound headache. As for Rudy, he’s too far gone for this to even register on him. Whatever happened to this man happened long enough ago and at such a fundamental level, that today’s disgrace is just one more rock on the pile.
Oh, and don’t forget that business in Arizona. Rudy has been indicted in Arizona for election interference. That won’t end well, either.

I sure hope nobody had any money riding on the “rudy will take responsibility for his actions” square in the Unlikely Things Happening This Week lottery.
Rudy was going to blame someone (s) for his incompetence and since dems exist it does follow he’d blame them. Someone needs to let him in on a little fact: when the majority of the country is against what you want, believe, etc., it’s no longer a conspiracy, the work of mob bosses, or anything other than your own f*ck-up. Somehow I think that’d fall on deaf ears.
He’s been a disgrace since 9/11 when he wore a respirator except when there was,a press conference or there were a lot of paParazzi around–equipment needed by actual.clean-up.crews,and first responders.Then there was the 2008 story on his having hid mistress chauffeured around by NYPD. That was disgusting albeit not illegal, and it eventually got paid for through some arcane billing system (and I do not know if it would have been repaid if there hadn’t been a baby new story; my bet is it would not have been). He has been divorced twice. His latest wife learned she was being divorced when he announced it at a press conference in Bryant Park. Incidentally, she was the one he used NYPD to chauffeur around so Wife #2 wouldn’t find out.
