I’m pretty sure the laptop thing is, or soon will be, beginning to backfire on them. I base this on the fact that I tend to view transgressions (or even the appearance thereof) by people on “our side” pretty harshly, by reason of “damn it, they oughta know better” and “damn it, we’re supposed to be better than those guys”. But on this story, I find myself switching over to feeling nothing but pure sympathy for father and son.
If the feds indict Hunter for something (tax issues are most likely), I doubt Joe will.pardon him.And there is zilch evidence Joe was involved in his businesses, though Joe’s bro Jim may have been.
