The question still remains, how far can Fox News push anti-vaxxing when people are dropping like flies in southern states and Florida and Texas are in crisis mode? They’ve got to reverse field at some point, wouldn’t you think? Or they’re not worried about killing off their viewers?
What should be enlightening is the number of Republiqanon people who refuse to be vaccinated are still alive at the next election.
Maybe then DeSantis and Abbott will catch on to what they have done when their base are all in the cemetery.
Or how about this…know all those voter suppression laws that is designed to deny absentee ballots? And how some of them can impact the very unambulatory due to illness voters out there? Well, wouldn’t it be a shame if they COULD vote but had no way to make it to a polling station and ALSO unable to get an absentee ballot?
Fox is about to hit the breaking point. They’ll either cool their jets or go out of business. Rick Wilson is really lamenting the end of his Republican party with that tweet thread. He has a fine future as a message guru for Liz Cheney. But until then, he’s trying to make me care that the idiotically cruel control his party. And I just can’t.
Too many perfect comments from Rick Wilson, but I would like to know, what is a ‘natpop snake-human hybrid’? Between unfettered anti-vaxx, anti-mask, anti-common sense stands, and the whole ‘let’s get guns to anyone who wants one, no matter how insane’ movement, the GQP is definitely the death party, our very own death squad, the actual death panel they propaganized about under the ACA. There’s no ‘right to life’ in any of this mishmash of death wish politics. What the ever living hell is wrong with the RepuQ’s? They’ve gone totally insane/Lord of the Flies on us, lost any trace of how to be civilized. While Covid will take out a large portion of them, we’ll have to deal with all these haters in a noisy, bloody battle, Civil War 2.0. I don’t think they are going to go quietly back under their rocks any time soon, not the way they are buying up arms and ammo. They have no regard for life or liberty, just their own freedumb. No room for anyone else in that little, dark, airless closet of paranoia that they peer out of. If only the Rapture would take all these worthless air wasters off our hands.

I’d like to say something positive, but can’t. Global warming is accelerating and the whole thing may be out of our hands sooner than we think. I thank this site for the wonderful, insightful people who populate it. I do not know what the Rs hope to accomplish. We bought groceries for family today, the a/c is working, and I believe my neighbors and I will look out for one another as long as we can, but I don’t know where all this will go. May I say unprecedented? Oh, yes, am vaccinated and wear a mask in public buildings. Have not been harassed about it so far. What ever happened to civilization?
Once COVID purges the MAGAts out of Florida and Texas, we just spray them with disinfectant and build vacation resorts (ones that won’t collapse). Both are probably nice locations, just need to get rid of the bio-infestations that are dragging them down.
