You’ve probably heard that Miles Taylor has penned another marvel and this one focuses on Donald Trump’s sick relationships with women, including his own daughter. Taylor was the Trump staffer who penned the expose “Anonymous” and it was quite the bombshell when it was released. One oft-quoted passage described Trumps leadership as “like if your crazy uncle escaped the home, wearing no pants and nobody knew what to do,” or words to that effect. Now Taylor has done himself one better with Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump. Newsweek has excerpts:

There still are quite a few female leaders from the Trump administration who have held their tongues about the unequal treatment they faced in the administration at best, and the absolute naked sexism they experienced with the hands of Donald Trump at worst,” Taylor told Newsweek.

“When we were with him, Kirstjen did her best to ignore the president’s inappropriate behavior,” Taylor writes in his book. “He called her ‘sweetie’ and ‘honey,’ and critiqued her makeup and outfits.”

After a crass comment from Trump, he recalls Nielsen whispering to him: “Trust me, this is not a healthy workplace for women.” Nielsen has been contacted for comment.

He also recalled that Kellyanne Conway, who served as senior counselor, had once referred to Trump as a “misogynistic bully” after a meeting during which he had “berated” several female leaders in the administration.

Conway’s office denies the comments and made a crack about Taylor chasing another fifteen minutes of fame. This may get more interesting as time goes on. Taylor may have witnesses who would be willing to come forward and corroborate his words. This could be a real show down. Although, logically, Kellyanne has always been Trump’s lap dog, so maybe this isn’t true. But Taylor has to have considered all the angles of revealing this incident, just as we’re considering them now.

And it will be really interesting to see what Ivanka says, if anything, about this. It is on record that in a 2006 appearance on The View Trump said that “if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her. Isn’t that terrible? How terrible? Is that terrible?” And that was far from being the only off color comment he made.

“Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump‘s breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter,” Taylor writes.

“Afterward, Kelly retold that story to me in visible disgust. Trump, he said, was ‘a very, very evil man.'”

Taylor believes that Trump would make an even worst hash of the presidency should he get elected again.

“This man is closing the door to all kinds of potential talent, so you would expect even more dangerous people in a second term,” he said.

A second term with Trump in the White House is unthinkable but the GOP won’t turn him loose. If we are to believe Kevin McCarthy’s most recent groveling to Trump, plus all of the polls, Trump is headed towards the top of the GOP ticket once again.

They have learned nothing, the whole lot of them. It’s all about power and whatever low hanging fruit they can grab from playing nice with Trump, assuming he gets back in power. The Republicans do not see the big picture, which is the loss of our way of government and our way of life. This is what is terrifying.

  1. If Trump hates KellyAnne (quite possible) it’s mostly because she wouldn’t f**k him. Or go down on him. Or at least give him a handjob! (To Trump that’s a woman’s purpose in life – to turn him on and help him get his rocks off – and then show up and be eye candy for him so he can glance at them, and then smirkingly to the cameras/audience with a “You all know I’m gettin some of that don’t you!”)

  2. The GOP main mission since McCarthy has been to become the only party that rules the nation. They have been slowly creeping upon us for just that reason until Trump allowed them to go fully and unapologetically full throttle. They believe the US in U.S.A.refers only to themselves. Their enthusiastic followers don’t realize they are not included in the equation.

  3. Sexism is everywhere in D.C. But Trump raised it from.an undercurrent to.a,riptide.

My first job was in D.C. I had staffers trying to pick.me up.over the phone or at meetings. Since I was frequently mistaken for a high school.student, despite being 24, that says a,lot
