I hope that the Lincoln Project decides to make one of those psychological black comedies, with the whispers, that induces Donald Trump’s panic attacks. Or, maybe those clips don’t induce his panic, but they sure as hell play into his paranoia and magnify it.

The Mystery Of the Mar-a-Lago Mole is still unsolved and Trump is no Sherlock Holmes. He also has no one to play Dr. Watson. Candidates for that part are limited to Roger Stone, Mike Lindell, well, you know.

And so the Mole goes unchecked. Unless…unless it’s Jason Miller and that well could be. It’s a theory that fits the facts, in all events.

Let’s rewind a bit so you can get the back story. The Daily Beast originally published a story that Nick Fuentes wanted very much to have dinner with Trump, but that that opportunity was denied him. So Trump’s cover story was intact, whomever the mole was, until Trump himself went and blew it today by admitting to Axios that yes, he did indeed have dinner with Fuentes.

Driving the news: Ye, whose Twitter account was recently restored after being restricted for anti-Semitic comments, posted a video on Thursday night titled “Mar-a-Lago debrief.”

  • Ye claims in the video that Trump was “really impressed” with Fuentes because “unlike so many of the lawyers and so many people that he was left with on his 2020 campaign, he’s actually a loyalist.”
  • Ye, who has lost major sponsorships over his anti-Semitism and recent far-right associations, has said he wants to run for president in 2024. The rapper claims Trump started “screaming” at him at the dinner and told him he would lose — “most perturbed” by Ye asking Trump to be his running mate.

What they’re saying: “Kanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago. Our dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye and me only, but he arrived with a guest whom I had never met and knew nothing about,” Trump said in a statement.

It is a trifle implausible that Trump never heard of Fuentes. Fuentes was a main player in the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville in 2017. Ergo, Fuentes was one of the “very good people on both sides.”

In all events, it looks like Miller is taking the fall, whether he’s the guilty party or not. It doesn’t help matters that Roger Stone hates Miller and he’s still very tight with Trump. And it could well be Jared and Ivanka who are the moles, as Michael Cohen and Mary Trump suspect.

Hell, it could even be Stephen Miller, because he was close with Jared when they worked together in the White House and keeping that relationship intact, by doing Jared and Ivanka’s dirty work, would be one way for Stephen Miller to hang on for a little while longer.

Don’t count Stephen Miller out of anything. Bear in mind that he was on the phone with Trump several times on January 6, according to White House phone logs released by the January 6 Committee. It could well be that one of the reasons that Mike Pence was as paranoid as he was is because he had some inkling of what was going on and who was involved. Stephen Miller probably played a much bigger role than we know — and wouldn’t it be interesting if the January 6 Committee made inquiry about that, when they interview Pence?

Meanwhile, the soap opera, As Trump World Turns, continues. (belch)
