As you are aware, there was yet another lethal school shooting in Michigan yesterday. It didn’t get the kind of stop-the-presses coverage that mass shootings used to get because there are so many of them that we have become numbed. We simply are no longer as shocked as we used to be, much as a solider in combat is not as shocked the 50th time he loses a comrade, as opposed to the first. We have become inured and deadened in order to survive.
The young man charged with the Michigan shooting, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, had already been exhibiting behavior that concerned school authorities and the day he exploded his parents had been called to the school for a conference about same. The county prosecutor has said Crumbley has been charged as an adult with one count of terrorism, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm, and more charges may be added later.
What made him do this? What kind of a home does he come out of? His mother is a die hard MAGA, evidently. She penned a letter on Facebook to Donald Trump. Daily Beast:
“Mr. Trump, I actually love that you are a bad public speaker because that showed sincerity, and humility,” she wrote. “You changed your mind, and you said ‘so what.’ You made the famous ‘grab them in the pussy’ comment, did it offend me? No. I say things all the time that people take the wrong way, do I mean them, not always. Do I agree that you should of [sic] shown your tax returns? No. I don’t care what you do or maybe don’t pay in taxes, I think those are personal and if the Gov’t can lock someone up over $10,000 of unpaid taxes and you slipped on by, then that shows the corruption.”
Crumbley went on to tell Trump that she hoped he would “really uncover the politicians for what I believe they really are,” and that he might “shut down Big Pharma, make health care affordable for me and my MIDDLE CLASS family again.” She was in favor of Trump’s long-promised border wall, and noted that she was “not racist” because her grandfather “came straight off the boat in Italy.”
“As a female and a Realtor, thank you for allowing my right to bear arms,” the letter continued. “Allowing me to be protected if I show a home to someone with bad intentions. Thank you for respecting that Amendment.”
She complained about parents at other schools where the “kids come from illegal immigrant parents” and “don’t care about learning.”
It was signed, “A hard working Middle Class Law Abiding Citizen who is sick of getting fucked in the ass and would rather be grabbed by the pussy.”
Maybe when you go to school with kids from illegal immigrant parents you can feel empowered to shoot them, because Mr. Trump doesn’t like immigrants. Who knows?
The gun that he used to kill people had been purchased by his father just four days ago, and he had plenty of ammunition with him.
Just a thought, I wonder if the kids he killed were people he perceived to be non-MAGA? Or was it all just random?
Looks like apples still don’t fall far from the tree. How can the obsessive grievance mentality of parents like that not filter down to the kids?

The thing about that letter is that Trump is almost sure to read it and get really angry over “it didn’t bother me you’re a bad public speaker.” She just utterly offended the man she deifies and now he hates her. I hope someone explains this to her…slowly….but thoroughly.

Well, my heavens. I cannot possibly begin to imagine how anyone could ever think the woman could be racist when her GRANDFATHER got “straight off the boat from Italy.” I mean, I remember all those old newsreels showing all those immigrants at Ellis Island with all those dark-skinned immigrants of color, fresh off the boats coming from Europe and all those other countries that had so many people of different *racial* compositions.
Sounds like she’s another “Karen.” It might’ve helped her argument if she spoke of all the “blacks” and “Mexicans” with whom she works and hasn’t had them fired for daring to speak to her without permission.
And her whole “female and a realtor” bit! If she’s so concerned about showing houses to people with “bad intentions,” maybe she’s in the wrong job.
This makes me sick. No wonder her kid is so fucked up. I’m so glad the parents are getting charged.
This kid has the dead eyes of a psychopath and nothing good could come out of combining him with a gun. The mom is a maga wackjob and there are entirely too many of those.
