It is very hard to imagine President Donald Trump taking any sort of slight with any presidential dignity, but it is impossible to see a scenario where Trump is accused of being too emotional to see straight as anything but an affront to the very cells that are alleged to make up his brain. And yet, if there is one person on Earth who can both get away with such an insult, while also crafting it perfectly as a means to get under Trump’s pampered skin, it would be Vladimir Putin. As an ex-KGB officer, Putin has to know the value of psychological warfare and thus has to have had a hand in slapping Trump senseless with the perfect comeback to Trump’s last statement on the Russia-Ukrainian war.
To review, Trump had finally taken a stand against Putin – though Trump should hardly be congratulated. It took Putin firing bombs into Ukrainian cities to murder and displace Ukrainian civilians to get Trump to respond at all. When he did, Trump didn’t demand that Putin pull out, never mind threaten any sort of consequences – no, Trump merely said that Putin had lost it and acted put off by the fact that he and Putin once had a “great relationship,” as if friendships drive warfare. Trump stated:

So that happened and, to be brutally honest, we could hardly have expected it and should note that it is better than absolutely nothing – if only barely. It was enough that Putin had to respond. Putin had to know that he didn’t want to overtly insult Trump; there is little worse for global stability than a reckless and unpredictable Trump. So Putin did it with elan. He essentially accused Trump of having a case of the vapors. According to a report in The Hill.
The Kremlin on Monday responded to President Trump’s criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing “emotional overload” at this “very important moment.”
“We are really grateful to the Americans and to President Trump personally for their assistance in organizing and launching this negotiation process,” said spokesman Dmitry Peskov when asked about Trump’s remarks, according to Reuters.
“Of course, at the same time, this is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions.”
Now, we know MAGA. And if there is anything we know, it is that they believe they stand for all that is “alpha male.” To that end, if anyone – especially a rival – accuses them of being emotionally overloaded and reacting emotionally, you know that a MAGA mind will first conjure images of a woman in “hysterics.” Never mind that this isn’t a gender thing; few issues are at the presidential level. I’m referencing their impression.
And you know that Vladimir Putin counted on that exact interpretation or “vision” when putting the statement out. One of the most infuriating things about Putin is his genius, and we cannot cheer him on now just because he is against Trump. No, we should be that much more furious that the man shelling apartments and hospitals can manipulate the American president that easily.
Watch this space for a response from Trump. For the first time ever, we certainly want to see a bold and confident retort.

Putin as a genius is seriously over used. just look at his prosecution of the war. like trump he’s very good at what little he is good at. and putin is hardly the only person who can manipulate the American president that easily.
