Paul Gosar is one sick puppy as his siblings have been telling us for many years. Maybe it’s time to listen to them. He’s been having a wonderful time with video the past couple of days. I’m sure you caught his wide-body meme, which was a copycat of a Vladimir Putin video, captioned by Gosar as “on my way to fight immigration.” Then the same weekend he outdid himself with an anime video depicting Gosar as a warrior, killing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and going after Joe Biden with swords.

It was pointed out that this kind of behavior would not be tolerated in any work place anywhere in America and most certainly should not be condoned in our government.

The Hill:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is calling for a series of investigations into Rep. Paul Gosar after the Arizona Republican took to Twitter this week to advertise violence against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and President Biden. […]

The video has sparked yet another national debate over speech and civility in political discourse, as well as the role of the tech giants in policing the content that appears under their labels. Twitter, facing backlash, declined to removed Gosar’s video but has attached a warning label to it.

Gosar is already under fire for his role in promoting former President Trump‘s lie that the 2020 election was stolen, and he is among the Republicans expected to be called to testify in the bipartisan investigation into the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

That attack has led to rampant distrust between the parties on Capitol Hill, where the fear of more violence is palpable even 11 months later. And other Democratic leaders quickly joined Pelosi in urging McCarthy to take action against Gosar for tweeting out the anime violence.

“In any other job in America, if a coworker made a video killing another coworker, that person would be fired,” the four leaders of the Democrats’ policy and communications team, Reps. Matt Cartwright (Pa.), Debbie Dingell (Mich.), Ted Lieu (Calif.) and Joe Neguse (Colo.), said Tuesday in a statement. “Mr. McCarthy needs to decide whether he will finally stand with the American people on the side of law and order or he will continue to support violence and chaos.”

I was actually glad to find out that Twitter hadn’t deleted the video because I think the world needs to see how mentally ill he really is, and that’s Exhibit “A.”
As for Kevin McCarthy, he is totally skewered on the horns of a dilemma and has been for some time. He needs to decide whether to do something moral, which is highly unlikely since he backstabbed Liz Cheney and elevated Stepford Rep Elise Stefanik to Cheney’s former position, or he can continue on the mad tribal rant and go after the 13 members of the GOP House caucus who voted for infrastructure. And now Pelosi wants him to deal with the caucus’ resident lunatic.
McCarthy’s head is probably ready to explode.
