Paul McCartney released a new solo album and in one of his songs the lyrics are, ‘We’ve got a mad captain sailing this boat’.  And yeah, he means Donald Trump.

In a recent interview with  BBC UK, McCartney admitted that he took aim at Donald Trump in his new solo album, dubbing him the “mad captain” in one of his songs.

When pressed during the interview about who it was he had in mind when he thought of the words “mad captain,” McCartney answered, “Well I mean, obviously it’s Trump.”

Obviously.

On his new album, “Egypt Station,” which was released earlier this month, McCartney took jabs at Trump and several climate-change deniers in a track, titled “Despite Repeated Warnings”.

Sir Paul also included the following verse on the track: “those who shout the loudest, may not always be the smartest.”

Trump has been very vocal about his denial regarding climate change.  His Administration has cut back Obama-era regulations on coal-fired power plants and claimed that climate change was “created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing noncompetitive.”
