Just as it’s hard to believe that her dad-in-law lacks even the modicum of self-awareness that would it would take to prevent him from leaving the house with 5 lbs of circus peanut-hued goop slathered on his deteriorating face, it is equally difficult to believe that Lara Trump can listen to her caterwauling, Appalachian alley-cat inspired whines and moans that she thinks is singing and think… “Gee, I really want other people to hear that.”

But apparently that is the case, as yesterday as she plied the waves at a Sunday afternoon boat parade she put this horrible cacophony on repeat on her boat speakers and set the volume to “maddening”.

Poor Tom Petty had to be breakdancing in his grave.

    • Actually, sadly, weirdly I think she can. I believe that as long as she doesn’t make any claim to have written or own the song, and as long as proper royalties from any broadcast or sales are paid to the rightful copyright owner, i.e. the Petty family – she can in fact do this. (Doesn’t mean she should though does it?)
