I believe New York Attorney General Letitia James is the definition of bad a*s. During the often-heated civil fraud trial against former President Donald Trump and his company, James maintained her cool despite the repeated insults he and his lawyers threw in her direction.
As Business Insider notes Trump has questioned her sanity, called her a racist, a lunatic (sounds like Trump, doesn’t it?) and one of his clown-college lawyers has even mocked her feet.
But Trump may really be in a bad mood when he finds out James and her office are ready to take action if he can’t foot his $354 million civil fraud fine. This, of course, comes four days after Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay the whopping fine stemming from his involvement in the New York civil fraud case, MeidasTouch.com reports. In an interview with ABC News, James explained that her office will seek court approval to seize his assets if Trump is unable to pay the fine.
As she was being interviewed by ABC News’ Aaron Katersky, James was entirely confident regarding the strength of the case on appeal. She told Katersky that her office won’t hesitate to seize the ex-president’s assets to ensure that New Yorkers receive what’s owed them. This even includes his building at 40 Wall Street.
We can assume that Trump will be uttering a barrage of unprintable cuss words while also posting a few colorful descriptions on Truth Social about how James done him wrong. It’s just what he does so effortlessly: blame everyone else for the illegal things he quite obviously and verifiably did.
Right about now, this fearless woman must be taking her victory lap. And she deserves it. But Trump being who he is, has already said he’ll appeal the judgment. However, James stresses that Trump must be held accountable for what he’s done. Because victims of financial fraud are just that: victims. Doesn’t matter if a person steals $10 or $100,000,000 — they are still victimizing someone.
News that James may take further actions led Trump lawyer Alina Habba to boast “Of course [Trump] has the money” and to further note that he was ready to post the money for his appeal.

Considering the fact that James eats lawyers like Habba for breakfast, I suspect Trump’s attempt at an appeal is going to fall flatter than that yellow hair on his head. I don’t think he’ll be able to lie his way out of this situation, so I really hope he doesn’t mind losing that building at 40 Wall Street.
In the coming fire sales, does he even have $500 million worth of assets?

Someone needs to tell the strip mall attorney: just because dingleberry doesn’t agree with the ruling/fine/judgement, it does not mean an appeal will be granted. So, “what aren’t my grounds for appeal” is, as usual, an asinine response that will should she go that route end up with trump owing a great deal of money, both of them having a great deal of egg on their faces, and her finally losing her license (s) to practice law. I cannot imagine any state bar association watching her absolute idiocy with any other thought than “we need to yank that particular license NOW”. While they’re at it they need to make the return of the license contingent on her repeating law school-this time at a reputable law school. It has been obvious from day 1 this little chippy not only has no grasp of the law, she might not even be able to spell Litigation, Sanction, Revoke…
