I guess if you live long enough everything changes into something totally different. When I was a kid growing up in the sixties, the so-called “wonder years” I was proud to be an American. We were a remarkable people. We could put people on the moon. We crusaded for human rights and were cutting edge in the medical and technical fields. We had a car in every driveway, a chicken in every pot and were working on a color TV in every living room, by which to monitor these marvels.
Now we live in a culture where people like the ones in this clip claim the moon landing never happened. They deny science and want to cure the worst global pandemic in a century by drinking fish tank cleaner. And worst of all, they have no respect for our government or our laws. January 6 was a great sight gag to them, people climbing on the walls of the Capitol, assaulting police, smashing windows, smearing feces on the marble floors, calling out our elected representatives in a profane manner and with violent intent. To these people, that is comical.
I’m ashamed to be an American. Or, maybe I should say, I’m fine being an American but I’m having major problems right now with Amerikkka. That is actually the accurate way to state it.

I used to work with a guy who spent the summer between college and law school hitchhiking around the country to rock concerts. I guess this is the opposite end of that spectrum, living from Trump rally to Trump rally, likes surfers following the waves. Trump Nomadland.
I will never cease to be amazed by the willful ignorance and blindness to the facts that these people display. If they spent a short time on a computer they would find out about his 6 bankruptcies, his countless scams, the 25 or more rape allegations filed against this fat assed piece of garbage and the many millions he’s had to pay because of his being caught grifting anyone he could. These sickos must be graduates of Trump University. I guess they just don’t give a shit.

These people, especially the guy dressed as Uncle Sam singing praise to overthrowing the government, remind me of Dead Heads. I never could stand the Grateful Dead’s off key harmonies but that’s beside the point. Dead Heads would travel the country to go to concerts. So we have our new dead heads that are going to wind up – dead.

The guy dressed as “Uncle Sam”? Likely he didn’t get the money from that fundraiser because it got shut down. Most of us know that you pay your debts as you can, and don’t add to them any more than necessary.
The amount of irony and cognitive dissonance of *** worshippers is staggering! Everyone of them would trash this “TheUncle” as a lazy worthless whiner if this was a blue voter. But since he’s passed the “smell test” (i.e., lost his mind over the orange ***olini) for these covidiot kool-aid guzzlers, they accept him with open arms.
