The best of social media is some pretty good stuff indeed. The clip you’re about to watch is as good as any of the SNL or Colbert writers could come up with on any given day. I hope that this guy makes more of these, if he’s got this kind of incisive wit.
What a Catch-22 world we live in.

Maybe it’s not possible to have a culture like Norway’s in a nation this size. Norway has less than 5.5 million people, the United States has 330 million. But I bet we could get closer.
That was just spot on. When your bootstraps are spider webs, you can’t pull yourself up.
You can’t, anyway. “Pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps” has always been impossible.
First you have to afford boots.
I’m not laughing. This is so true it is distressing. So sad that our system makes it so hard for so many people to live a reasonable life.
What is sad is that in the wealthiest country in the world, the distribution of that wealth is so out of whack that we have so many many people that are homeless, hungry, and without medical care!
The rich don’t share, don’t care, prefer to be unaware that this country is not rich because of them. Instead, their aim is more to prevent anyone else from being happy.
