Melania’s not fooling anyone, least of all Don Lemon. Trump recently attacked Lemon and LeBron James in an openly racist tweet which shocked even the most hardened of Trump critics. “Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”
The tweet was hardly a dog whistle, it was more like a bullhorn. Melania replied with the somewhat lukewarm, “It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation.”
Lemon thanked Melania but he also issued this caveat, don’t read too much into her statement because “We have to remember, she was a birther, too.” Against that background, Melania tweeted on her Best Best initiative, where she incongruously proposes to teach children to be kind and respectful on social media when she’s married to the biggest and rudest Twitter bully of all time.
It’s #Backtoschool for many youth this month. As you begin a new year, how will you be the best you? #BeBest

How indeed. Begin with your family at home. Stop them online bullying, lying, boasting, disrespecting, scolding, racebaiting. Then let them start praising and honoring for well intended acts people they disagree with. Just an idea.

By campaigning, advocating and working like hell to get you and all of your terrible friends and family out of office and, where possible, into prison! ❤️? #BeBest

I wonder if you could possibly be more insipid. There are lots of kids who would probably be their best selves if they were ?let out of their cages and reunited ?with their families. #BeBest

It will be interesting to see how Melania’s work on her “platform” progresses.
