A certain criminal defendant is bouncing off the ropes these days and that is only going to get worse. This individual has to show up in court again tomorrow — can you imagine? — and again on Friday. And he doesn’t get to run the show, he is the show. The jury has purportedly been smiling and laughing when listening to the prosecution’s key witness and that has not made the defendant happy. And you know that he won’t like this. Not one little bit.

Supposedly these epiphanies happen but then they seem to be short lived. For example, Couy Griffin, head of Cowboys For Trump, became disillusioned with the Mango Messiah a few years ago because he wasn’t fulfilling his promises soon enough. And then he really became disillusioned when the 14th Amendment was applied to himself (Griffin was not allowed to remain a county commissioner in New Mexico) but Trump is still in politics. That said, Griffin got on horseback like a 2024 version of Dennis Weaver playing McLeod and showed up at a demonstration in Brooklyn for another J6 defendant and also to support Trump, who was in court that day.
In any event, the last thing Trump needs is for the cult to wake up. Can they be reached?

You see how the battle is uphill. Trump represents the terrified whites and the problem there is that the whites have no reason to be terrified — but Fox News and the rest of right-wing media want them to believe otherwise. Everybody from the NRA to Jim Bakker is telling them to stockpile guns, bullets, Bibles and pancake mix in anticipation of the Great Replacement soon to come.
In many ways the cult has had the kool-aide already. Maybe there is no saving them. But it’s like everything else, if you can start out small, achieving something is better than nothing. And Trump hates it when one of these ads come out targeted at his flock.
Someone with a Twit/X account should respond to that “final word/dog crouch” loser with a more accurate graphic: One which shows a picture of Trump under the line “Who Trump represents” and that map of the US (preferably one with a collage of the vast diversity of the American people and the Constitution and the Statue of Liberty and the Liberty Bell and other symbols of the US) under the line “Who Democrats represent.”
Granted, whoever would do that would be blocked by the little fascist, but the point would be made.
I might also throw in a little snark for him to be careful if he’s ever close to Kristi Noem.
I think the hardest thing for sane, rational people, who know even limited American history, to accept, is that there is NOTHING that will break through to the members of this death cult. There is no factual history, science, etc. that will impact people who are members of this cult of hypocrites, liars, and traitors to our democratic Republic. There’s the ugly truth, that when a cult takes over a nation and its weapons, the only thing history has shown is: THEY MUST BE STOPPED AT ANY COST. So what if you have to send 400,000 boys to an early grave to stop them? It must be done. As of this moment, I’m not sure if the rational people realize the danger we are facing. Denial of things that make us anxious or frightened is the opium of the people. The good news is: it was the boys in the American Revolution, the Civil War, WW2, and others that have ALREADY PAID FOR THE VOTE WITH THEIR BLOOD. Hundreds of thousands lie in the ground and sea. All we have to do is smarten up and VOTE! That’s it. No boot camp. No uniform. No orders. No guns. No bullets headed our way. Just an ID and vote. Let’s honor the sacrifices of those heros and their families. Let’s stop Fascism with the Vote! Just how it SHOULD BE DONE IN A DEMOCRACY! VOTE!
Funny how when dems are running the show, our economy gets picked up out of the shit-hole ‘pubes put it in and goes like gang-busters.
