Pam Bondi is the heart of Trump world right now. She’s fighting battles on different fronts. This may be the last weekend we see the Bongino/Bondi skirmish because it very likely will be resolved in a few days. My prediction is that Dan Bongino is going to resign from the FBI and go back to work as a podcaster. He’s infinitely more suited to conspiracy theory and complaining than to doing an actual job at the FBI, or anyplace else. Kash Patel’s fate is harder to predict. He’s much too busy making enemies’ lists and giving the agents and staffers polygraph tests to see what mean things they say about him. So expect that twaddle to go on a while longer. If I had to make a prediction today, I’d say Patel isn’t going anywhere, unfortunately.
But the Bongino/Bondi tiff is going to resolve soon, I predict. Here’s MAGA’s latest salvo at Bondi and it’s the digital equivalent of pissing in the wind.

I agree that Trump doesn’t care what MAGA thinks. I still think Bongino will resign because he hates his job and of course he’ll cloak it under some noble purpose. That will be good for laughs. Meanwhile, here is Trump trying to calm everybody. He’s giving MAGA notice to stand down.

So that means he’s keeping this in the comparative safety of Truth Social. But that is not working. Trump is getting pushback on Truth Social. I assure you, this is a first.
Nobody talks to Trump this way on Truth Social. On Twitter he gets plenty of pushback because not everybody on that platform is his fan. But on Truth Social you never see this.
“This is not going away.” MAGA is telling Trump, this is not going away. You see it in front of you. What’s Trump’s next move? He can’t have those files released so what is he going to do? I think we can safely say that Trump never thought this day would dawn. He’s painted himself into a corner and he can’t get out.
Forget the list. Somewhere out there are images and videos that trump is desperate never leak out. Musk has the money and vehicle to make it happen.
For justice, and without revealing the identities of the hundreds of young women who were abused, I’m hoping.
