No, the Epstein files were not released over the weekend, but something that could prove to be perhaps just as devastating was unleashed, and it is ripping MAGA to the core. The movement that fancies itself as rooted in true American patriotism has long been known to be the puppet of foreign intelligence adversaries in Russia, China, and India, but the “influencer” set on X seemed to skate along as if those people couldn’t possibly be anyone but the MAGA-flagged neighbor down the street. Turns out that, upon X opening its “Account Location” feature, we find out that the influencers are less “Steve,” more “Sergei.”
Indeed, the whole thing spilled into the open so unceremoniously, and packed such an immediate punch, that team loyalist Elon Musk, owner of “X,” may have already pulled the plug. As of this writing, the feature is down. But it has been up long enough to make news, as chronicled in MSN reports:
Dozens of major accounts masquerading as “America First” or “MAGA” proponents have been identified as originating in places like Russia, India, and Nigeria.
In one example, the account MAGANationX—with its nearly 400,000 followers and a bio reading “Patriot Voice for We The People”—is actually based in Eastern Europe.
Right, and so now we get to see things like this:
@MAGANationX is based in EASTERN EUROPE.
"Linked to Russian troll farms".

And this:
How much of MAGA twitter is being run out of Russian troll farms in Russia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Thailand?
Today's revelations Likely put it around half.
They're now quickly changing their stated locations to US. pic.twitter.com/VSPDwxtzoX

There is something particularly sickening about reading through an account that does nothing but set the American people off at each other’s throats, and realizing that it is an arm of the Russian military. Of course, we always knew this, but it was always in a cerebral sort of way, and we could never be sure of which account. Now we can, and – perhaps that’s partly why it went down so very suddenly.
Users on X reported the tool being taken down just hours after it went live, with some speculating that the uncovering of the origins of far-right accounts may have something to do with its removal. However, it appears to now have been reinstated at the time of writing.
Not sure about that, I don’t have a premium “X” account and am not about to give Elon $8.00 for anything, but we’ll see if it lasts. It has already had a profound impact.
This is total armageddon for the online right.
It’s looking like half of their large accounts were foreigners posing as Americans all along. pic.twitter.com/XMPVapxx6d

Yes, and there is both good news and bad. For those of us who had been shocked by how unbelievably openly racist MAGA has become on “X,” it is possible that some of it is actually nothing more than foreign accounts trying to have us burn each other alive over the matter, rather than that same neighbor “Steve” down the street. Of course, someone is hitting the “Follow” button; these accounts don’t grow themselves, and so even that level of optimism must be tempered down some.
Regardless, it is a big big day online in the realm of influencers, and MAGA is taking it on the chin again. Whether it has been the economy, Epstein, MTG, or now this, MAGA is getting knocked back on its heels, over and over. Not only is it much weaker than even just six weeks ago, but it is starting to crumble.
I have long said that this wasn’t sustainable. We will suffer tremendous damage on the way out, but it certainly appears as if the foundation is truly falling in on itself this time.

Zoomers, we are always in need of donations. We work hard to get you analysis that you will not find in the mainstream media, but all media have been hit hard since the big companies have gobbled up and monopolized commentary. Anything you can spare will be immensely appreciated. And thank you to all who have donated generously already. Ursula

I read the article in The Guardian in 2015 about the troll farms. I figured they’d be even more influential now. Many tried to tell the maga(t)s what was going on but those in this country wanted to believe the b.s. spouted by the outside influencers. Magas been played and we’re paying the price. It’s gonna get worse with AI.

So Maga’s big guns entire existence and presence was based on a lie all along?
I am, of course shocked and very surprised at this startling news.
