Barely had the smoke cleared from CNN’s preemptive call of Donald Trump’s victory in the corn-dog state before she took to the airwaves of Fox News to announce decisively that President Joe Biden lost the Republican Caucus there.
No mean feat that, as there were at least three Republicans lined up to accept that accolade – former (R)esident Donald Trump, who barely received a plurality of votes in the contest no matter how much the networks tried to spin the night into a major Trump victory, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley who finished in third place – despite her fever dreams of surpassing Ron DeSantis – and promptly announced the nomination process a “two person” race, and DeSantis himself whom Fox Newshead Jesse Watters characterized during last night’s the coverage as “the current former Governor of Florida”.
A lot of voters in Florida would agree, Jesse.
But it was the former Trump mouth piece Conway who stole the laurels for most inane spin on the caucus results:
