Their shit eating grins betray the fact that they know that what they’re saying is not really cool but that’s alright, because they’ve gotten the signal from the Bully in Chief that it’s okay to kick the underdog. What these kids are saying is just an expanded version of the way kids used to exclude an outsider on the playground with the little ditty, “Tick tock the game is locked and nobody else can play.” That same childish simplicity and exclusion of the other is what these kids have learned is the immigration policy in this country and they have no problem repeating it and normalizing it.
This is exactly how the brainwashing starts in Orwell’s “1984” with indoctrinating the young.

Don’t forget the Hitler Youth. By 1939, over 90 percent of German children were part of the Hitler Youth organization.
Not only did it allow the Third Reich to indoctrinate children at their most impressionable, but it let the Nazis remove them from the influence of their parents, some of whom opposed the regime. The Nazi Party knew that families—private, cohesive groups not usually under political sway—were an obstacle to their goals. The Hitler Youth was a way to get Hitler’s ideology into the family unit, and some members of the Hitler Youth even denounced their parents when they behaved in ways not approved of by the Reich.
Maybe this is just a troll of the libs, but it’s sobering to have children unabashedly spewing views that they might have heard in the house a few years ago but that they knew enough not to repeat in public. If this is what Melania means by “Be Best” we’re in deep shit.
