Everything Trump touches dies! It’s more than a meme, it’s an axiom of life that we see demonstrated daily and especially today. The Hill is reporting Lindsey Halligan, the ex-U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia who was hand-picked by President Trump to prosecute his political adversaries, is under investigation by Florida’s bar association, a letter sent by the organization and obtained by The Hill shows.
The letter was sent last month to the executive director of Campaign for Accountability, a watchdog group that filed complaints against Halligan in Florida and Virginia.
“We are aware of these developments and have been monitoring them closely,” bar counsel Carlos Leon wrote in the Feb. 4 letter. “We already have an investigation pending.”
Halligan, who left the U.S. attorney’s office in January, appeared to be copied on the letter.
The former top federal prosecutor secured indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) after her predecessor was pushed out after refusing to pursue charges against the two Trump foes.
The road to disbarment seems set. But Halligan will do fine. She’ll be a talking head on Newsmax or OANN.

The experiment of milquetoast, whitebread (What did Katy Tur ever see in the guy?) hasn’t worked out. Like Trump she’s in over her head (not in water but a certain steaming brown organic material) and a co-anchor that she thinks would be eyeball candy for males is just the kind of asinine stunt Weiss might try.
