The poor Mar-a-Lago walls. If they could only talk, they would tell you of waterfalls of ketchup and mountains of broken glass, reflections of the mental landscape of one very disturbed orange man. Not to mention the wrenching of tiny thumbs, already sore from pounding out all-caps histrionics on social media, now hell bent on hurling tomato-sugar missiles through space.
The Lincoln Project has long delighted in pushing thin-skinned Donald Trump’s buttons. This next missive should achieve just that. Wednesday, November 8, is D-Day in Donald’s life, “D” for deign. It’s when the apple of his eye, Princess Ivanka, finally deigns to show up in the Manhattan court where she has been hailed, after motions and appeals of motions and countless angry calls to counsel, have all failed. Trump already hates the Lincoln Project, which he named “the Losers Project” back when they did their first opus about him, “Mourning In America.” This will not help the blood feud any.
While this is going around social media, Alina Habba has been busy talking to Charlie Kirk about what a no good so and so Arthur Engoron is. Her descriptor is “unhinged.”
“And he was cutting off the former president, sitting on the witness stand, cooperating and being a civil, decent defendant who was subpoenaed to come here and get off the campaign trail,” the attorney said. “He screamed at me, ‘sit down,’ in a manner I’ve never seen, slammed on his desk.”
“And it was completely disrespectful,” she continued. “And I said it yesterday. I’ll say it again. It was unhinged.”
Kirk asked Habba if Engoron served as a “judge, jury and executioner” because he was the sole determiner in the case.
“He executed us before we walked into the courtroom,” Habba agreed. “He granted a motion before we started the trial saying that we were liable, and he is firm on that.”
“We really are in a banana republic in there,” she added. “So he already said we’re guilty of fraud.”
“He is now putting on a show wasting taxpayer dollars, wasting President Trump’s money, frankly, because all he wants to do now is get bad evidence out and suppress anybody that’s going to put in good evidence. So it’s clearly political.”
He’s suppressing the “good evidence?” That’s very interesting. That’s the opposite of something called a Motion In Limine. A Motion In Limine is brought by one of the parties when certain evidence would be more prejudicial than probative and so it’s prohibited from being presented at trial.
If Ms. Habba has evidence she wants to present, or, alternatively, if she thinks that the prosecution has evidence which is more prejudicial than probative, she certainly knows what legal mechanism to use. It’s not that hard. But since she’s talking out her a$$, as usual, it really doesn’t matter much, now does it?
So Princess Ivanka shows up Wednesday to testify. Whether Trump will be in the courtroom, we don’t know. It would certainly be something to see, to watch him react to what Ivanka has to say.
Monday was explosive and Wednesday could be explosive but more importantly, determinative. Trump did a lot of damage on the stand yesterday. He admitted that documents were altered to induce banks to want to do business with him — a direct contradiction of previous statements that the banks were all dying to do business with him and that financial statements were not that important.
Ivanka is the one with the hammer who could nail Daddy’s coffin shut. And it’s anticipated that that’s just what she’ll do.

The court transcript shows, very plainly, that the silly twat is flapping her jaws to spew sewage. Her precious turd emperor was not prevented from speaking-he was prevented his usual word salad ranting. He did not want to answer the questions posed to him and did everything in his power to do anything but. He DID however want to make word salad speeches. Newsflash one-star lawyer: people on the witness stand are allowed to answer the questions posed to them. PERIOD.
