As nutty as things are in Washington now, with George Santos stories frying everybody’s sensibilities on a daily basis, as they become stranger and stranger still, and with Kevin McCarthy having vaulted the worst fringe elements in the GOP to the forefront of leadership, there is another side to the story.
We don’t have Donald Trump in the White House wrecking things.
It was said years ago that it would be many years down the road before we fully uncovered all the damage that Trump did in four years. I am quite sure that that is the case. We’re in the beginning of the healing process and some restoration of normalcy and that’s what this video celebrates.
We’ve had Joe Biden in office for two years and he’s had a very successful run. If the country wasn’t as horribly divided as it is and the culture war blazing, his considerable achievements would be recognized and lauded for what they are.
He passed the American Rescue Plan, added over 6.5 million jobs in 2021, which is the greatest job growth of any American in history, in one year. He passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Finally, after the standing joke that “Infrastructure Week” was for four interminable years, something actually got done and bridges and roads began to be fixed or built.
Health care has been expanded. Prescription drugs have been made more affordable and in the case of people on Medicare, are now covered by that plan. This is life saving. When Trump was in office there were people who died because they couldn’t afford insulin. The party of personal responsibility doesn’t care about these kinds of things.
We could go on but these are a few of the highlights.
Things are far from perfect, but let us count our blessings.

Joe has kept us out of the ditch yet the traitors who have tried to bring down the government, broken all kinds of laws, worked with and support our enemies, got back in power. Sick fucking country. We’ve become numb to how sick our culture truly is. Joe should be lauded. Instead he’s made fun of because of his age, stuttering, etc. We are in trouble. I wonder how many German citizens asked that after Hitler was given power?
Keyword: “tried”. Uncle Joe knows the deal, though, which is why he runs rings around these fools. Now that the GQP is less unified than ever, I expect he’ll find that even easier.
