The bottom line is that our society is not geared for this level of insanity. Our institutions don’t know how to function with it. The Dallas Morning News ran a story back in 2016 and said that journalism was not built to accommodate an election like the one that was happening, anymore than a copy machine was built to accommodate a four inch thick piece of cardboard going through it.
A lunatic found a loophole in our constitution, namely that anyone native born, over the age of 35 could run for president and so Trump parlayed his television and tabloid persona into a vehicle to obtain the highest office in the land. It is that simple and that was its dark genius. The sheer audacity of the maneuver somehow gave it a life of its own.
But now we can’t backtrack from the insanity and the cult continues and grows. Again, I give you the depressing statistic, 74,233,369 people voted for this crooked caricature of a clown.
This isn’t only sedition, this is blasphemy. I’ve known for some time that the GOP was in trouble but I didn’t think we were going to see religious phantasmagoria and certifiable insanity rule the day.

All these comments I read that Mr Wood and Mr Lindell say with regard Trump going to be reinstated into the presidency and that Trump is king anointed by God are statements causing fuel for the fire that keeps the left going. And if it is true that Trump said that he has done more for Christianity than Jesus, then that is simply blasphemous. I truly tire of hearing these kind of things. Trump was a good president and better than what we have seen years. He had the peoples back. He stood up to China and the Globalist. He brought jobs home and built a wall, to keep the legals out. Our economy was better that it had been in some time, that is prior to Covid. However, he cannot be compared to Jesus.
You’re nearly as delusional as tRump and his toadies. What he did was sacrifice over 600,000 of our fellow citizens to Covid because of his stupidity, lack of empathy and just plain lack of caring, which in turn had disastrous effects on our economy. He brought no jobs home, he built a few miles of wall, less than he promised (thank God!), created a horrific situation at the border, then made it worse. He did not stand up to China, instead set up tariffs to further punish Americans already suffering from his interference with trade with China. His only legislation was tax breaks for the 1%. He undermined and disassembled pretty much every federal agency, gave away our natural resources to big business and his cronies, installed compromised, dishonest conmen to head agencies, and put his own family members in positions of power. Meanwhile he broke laws by continuing to profit from his businesses, his staff defied the Hatch Act with no consequences, he paid off women to keep quiet about his sexual affairs with them, and he solicited favors from the Ukrainian leader. That doesn’t even begin to address the mountains of lies told, the undermining of our government and our democracy, the threats to freedom of the press and its members, and most recently, his incitement to riot and sedition. This is just off the top of my head. There are tons more examples of how he WAS NOT a good president, how he DID NOT have our backs. The only back he seemed to have was Putin’s, definitely not a shining example. So take a deeper look, stop listening to Fox propaganda. The truth is out there.

Your “good” president was able to ride on the economy handed to him by the Obama administration but his ham-handed way of dealing with everything took that good economy and trashed it-Covid only added to the problem that was already in the making. What jobs were brought home? That 2017 obscenity put money in the pockets of the oligarchs and corporations and all that happened was the corporations did what economists said they would do-stock buy-backs, pay dividends, but they did NOT onshore jobs (or create them BTW) previously off-shored.
The “built” wall? You mean the fence right? The one a ten year old girl can climb remember. Thankfully very little of that was even built. And why would we want to keep, and this is your word, “legals” out? Just as an aside, have you spoken with folks in the agriculture, service, construction industries lately? The folks coming from south of the border worked predominately in those industries and all of those industries are now screaming, and have been for a couple of years, because they cannot find workers. Americans don’t want to do these jobs especially wypipo.
