Facebook needs to shut this down. It’s not freedom of speech to present fantasy as reality and when one considers that blood has been shed over this ridiculousness, enough is enough.

Ben Collins is a reporter for NBC News.

This is what Wingnuttia believes in. And bear in mind, this is being discussed not only on Facebook but on a lot crazier platforms that we’re not even aware of. This is dangerous stuff.

  1. The three options for any confrontation in Wingnuttia:
    1. Violence
    2. More violence.
    3. Homicidal violence.

It’s not just an opinion, it’s a way of life!

  2. Speechless, seriously I got nothing. My only thing I cling to is this is a small keyboard troll, what they dont understand is you are inspiring someone more delusional than yourself,
To act… I guess were not better than that.

    • As the joke on Twitter goes, they should have named Parler “Evidence”. Still, in the Dark Web only gets you so far. You need some kind of public forum for recruitment purposes.

  3. If they look closely, the arches over the nooses don’t match the shots by the White House. But I guess details like that don’t matter.

    • They don’t even have to look closely: the one with the arches has no trees, and there’s no grass either. The WH and the Ellipse have lots of Big Trees that would show up.

They’re so busy analyzing teeny stuff that they’re missing the really big stuff right in front of them.

  4. History shows fascists, extremists, nazis, the klan, etc. CANNOT be reasoned with. My five uncles did not get sent to europe and the pacific to fight in WWII with books in hand to argue with the nazis. Of course, this generation hasn’t studied much. 900 page pulitzer prize winning authors on history are not studied. Facebook & the echo chambers rule. Bad information in, bad behavior out. Jefferson once wrote that any people who believe they can be both ignorant & free, believe in something that never was & never will be. How very true.

    • Careful with the generation blame, Scott. There is a convincing argument to be made that plenty of craven leaders from the Boomer contingent are a large part of why we are now here. In more practical terms, I’m rapidly coming to the conclusion that humans are consistently gullible across generational lines. The only thing that seems to change is the objects of their delusions. Strive to keep as few of the latter, I say.

      • At 67+, i grew up outdoors. There was no 24/7 disinformation system in my hand all hours. There were grades that insisted facts be respected. Paddles hung on teachers’ desks, & keeping little scotty happy was not a consideration by any adult. I agree no generalization is ever true bcuz NO ONE has all the information about anything. However, the generations that raised me considered lying to be the worst thing you could do. Now, people don’t read books, they watch fox news. Although, i’m encouraged by the activism of young folks, i find few who really have read & studied whatever they are upset about. It’s not enough to react. To stand strong when sacrifice is required, requires deep understanding. You do not get that without experience & true education. The mystery rolls on.

        • As somebody who spent the 2010s scraping the bottom of the economic barrel–which, let me assure you, is where most of those kids you just gave the backhanded compliments–I can promise you that grinding poverty, watching opportunity–even the crap opportunity I had at their age–evaporate before your very eyes and watching your elders consistently use you, abuse you or otherwise just let you down is its own true education and experience. Oh and the older I get, the much less patient I get with “back in my day…” statements that help to do NOTHING to help with the current mess.

          • I grew up in the shadow of the mts of nc/va. My parents never owned anything. Hard to when dad is a violent hot-tempered mountain boy, who was an alcoholic. Yep, poor white trash. Many other injustices since then. Excuses mean little since they solve nothing. My point is facebook has flooded reality with lies, half-truths etc. This, along with all the unregulated so-called “news” seems to be the source of their info. Piss poor choices to operate by. I have never joined facebook, but if I did, I would run to a book by David McCullough b4 I depended on my phone for historical analysis. It promotes mental & moral laziness. Then the lemmings are easy to lead to anywhere. Having studied the Bible, other Abrahamic religions & the eastern religions, with scholars, i find people either think they know the truth without respect for scholarship, or they reject religion/history/fill in the blank, cuz of some idiot who claimed to be the authority, but was found to be otherwise. It’s the same dynamic. Look for easy answers. Clutch onto what you want to believe. Most importantly, don’t put forth the effort to educate yourself, think for yourself, & be prepared to change when new information comes along. By the way, the people ‘back in the day’, saved our collective ass from fascism, by sacrificing themselves. ‘The greatest generation’ is what they are called. Those who have never served aren’t in position to know what that meant. It’s just a youtube video, or a tom hanks movie.
