The ways of wingnuttia and the right-wing press are fascinating. Simply fascinating. What they basically do is cobble together a conspiracy theory. If it doesn’t fly, they cobble together a yet more fantastical one, and eventually they’re so far out there in the QSphere, that nobody can even remember what happened in the first place that got the ball rolling.

But people believe it, they’ve internalized it, and that sets the stage for more madness.

Right-wing media initially was saying that Biden was no match for Putin, unlike Donald Trump whom Putin feared greatly. That was the pitch, that Putin was going to back Biden down, something he never would have dared to try with Trump, because he feared him.

Apparently, the fact that Biden is handling this issue in Ukraine rather admirably has sunk into even the densest of skulls and so now they’re regrouping and they’ve come up with a new conspiracy theory.

  1. Putin still doesn’t fear Biden;
  2. He doesn’t have to, because he owns him;
  3. He owns Biden because he rigged the 2020 election against Donald Trump and put Biden in power.

What’s that you say? If Putin was so good at rigging elections, why didn’t he just rig this one in favor of his BFF Donald?

That, unfortunately, is where the logic falls apart. And the hilarious part is, Trump will absolutely hear about it. What a hoot if he believes his buddy Vlad backstabbed him?

Now this part you’ll love. This insane conspiracy theory is being articulated by Thomas McInerney. Listen.

McInerney is pals with Sidney Powell, naturally, and he was the guy who said that servers in Frankfurt, Germany were stolen by Special Ops, to wit the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion who staged a raid to secure servers involved in stealing the election. “We know that the facility in Frankfurt was a CIA facility, run by commercial people,” he said.

Where the CIA servers went after they were stolen in the raid, we’re not sure. Maybe they went on board the Italian satellites. Your guess is as good as mine.

So now you know the latest. Fox News has apparently not heard about this yet, because they’re still pushing the conspiracy theory that the Ukraine issue is being overblown in order to deflect from the Durham memo, which is a matter of far greater import. But we have faith in Fox News, they’ll get up to speed quickly.

This is probably true and this is how these people will endure forever. We’re stuck with them and with their conspiracy theories. Because as long as there are people who can be led by the nose with revised versions of fables that were ridiculous to begin with, why would it stop?

Lesson learned, in the Twilight Zone.

  1. There’s never a single theory from this crowd that fails to make me say “Idiot says what?” You know the worst part about all the really out there stuff on their theories? It’s all ripped off from better-written fiction than what they’re peddling.

    Seriously, the lizard people come from the 1980s TV series V, red pill is from The Matrix and I’d bet my utility bill money on Q being stolen by the omnipotent trickster of the same name from Star Trek The Next Generation.
