The evidentiary hearing for Marjorie Taylor Greene is proceeding, and it is the zoo that you would expect. Here is a clip of her lawyer citing an old Ku Klux Klan case. The issue was whether the speech in that case was protected first amendment speech or incitement.
The clip is too short and there’s no elaboration at this very moment to show you, but I anticipate a lot of commentary on this to come out later today.
It won’t surprise you that Klan cases from the 1920’s are being cited with respect to MAGA cases of the 2020’s. Isn’t that interesting?
