They’re having quite the blow out at CPAC. Steve Bannon is the standard bearer for sobriety, it looks like, and anytime that’s the case you know you’re in trouble. Bannon is making no bones about Trump being dictator for life and we’ll get to that in due time. But for now, you have to look at the spectacle of Elon Musk on stage waving a chainsaw. Am I missing something about chainsaw references and MAGA? Because the poor slob we wrote about here last night, who got fired by Musk, even though he voted for Trump, made the comment, made the comment, “I didn’t think they’d take a chainsaw to a silk rug.” I didn’t know what that meant and still don’t. The worker is the silk rug? The government is the silk rug? In all events, we know who’s got the chainsaw — and he’s loaded, on top of it.

I listened to it four times and he’s talking about Twitter but what his point is escapes me.

“Chainsaw for bureaucracy.” Okay. We’re getting a clue here, a few hints at least. Elon is here to take the chainsaw to bureaucracy. The only problem with that, is that it’s a bit like doing brain surgery with a meat cleaver, the tool is simply not appropriate to the task and is guaranteed to create more problems than it solves. But that’s MAGA! Oh yes! They’re cheering this display of lunacy on!

Speaking of lunacy, let’s check in on Steve Bannon and his message to The Faithful.

And Trump, for his part, has spent 1/3 of the days he’s been back in office on the golf course or at the racecar track. He’s basically retired, while having the title of President of the United States. And some stoner with a chainsaw is running the country.

This is what voting Republican hath wrought. My God.

  2. Okay. You’ll have to forgive me but there’s no way I’m going to watch or listen to the videos of Steve Bannon’s ravings so maybe there’s something I’m missing in the write-up connected with both clips.

    WHO exactly is Bannon ranting about in the first video? Who “stole” what? What exactly is he claiming is responsible for Patel and Kennedy and Gabbard and Hegseth’s being in charge of those agencies? Or am I just misunderstanding the rant and he approves of those folks being where they are? Seriously. If the system is “so big, so corrupt, so powerful” that he feels a need to “fix bayonets” and go “charging again,” then–to me, at least–it sounds like he’s NOT happy with Patel, Kennedy, Gabbard and Hegseth. But if he IS happy with those folks, then it should be obvious, even to the blindest of the blind and dumbest of the dumb, that the system is NOT all that big, corrupt or powerful because they ARE in those positions.

    But, ultimately, if he’s NOT happy that PKGH (I’m not typing their full names again), but he wants Drumpf for another term (which can’t happen without Drumpf completely doing away with the Constitution) then he’s being a complete idiot since Drumpf put those people in those positions (with the aid of a bunch of traitorous self-serving cowardly Senators).

  3. I used to take drugs. Drank too much, got thrown in the can a time or two. Cheated on a few girlfriends. By gosh, I think I have a future in the Trump Administration!
