We live in a culture where any fool with cash can automatically get onto the public airwaves and spew pure silliness — and this passes for discourse? Yes. Yes, in reality TV America, in the Trump era, the answer is unfortunately yes.
Donald Trump has a real buddy in Kanye West aka Ye. They’re planning on having dinner together soon and discussing their recent ventures into media moguldom, along with none other than Elon Musk, who in a mere ten days will own Twitter. As a matter of fact, Musk tweeted about that earlier today, then thought better of it, and deleted the tweet.
Why Musk has “X” instead of Twitter at the point of his sword, we know not. And here’s a thought: when the sanest and most normal owner of a social media network is Mark Zuckerberg, you might want to stop and think for just a moment about where we are in this world.
And what is going to happen now, friends? Three guesses, first two don’t count….YES! It Gets Worse!

This what retired diplomat Fiona Hill told Politico:
[Politico] We’ve recently had Elon Musk step into this conflict trying to promote discussion of peace settlements. What do you make of the role that he’s playing?
Hill: It’s very clear that Elon Musk is transmitting a message for Putin. There was a conference in Aspen in late September when Musk offered a version of what was in his tweet — including the recognition of Crimea as Russian because it’s been mostly Russian since the 1780s — and the suggestion that the Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia should be up for negotiation, because there should be guaranteed water supplies to Crimea. He made this suggestion before Putin’s annexation of those two territories on September 30. It was a very specific reference. Kherson and Zaporizhzhia essentially control all the water supplies to Crimea. Crimea is a dry peninsula. It has aquifers, but it doesn’t have rivers. It’s dependent on water from the Dnipro River that flows through a canal from Kherson.
It’s unlikely Elon Musk knows about this himself. The reference to water is so specific that this clearly is a message from Putin.
Now, there are several reasons why Musk’s intervention is interesting and significant. First of all, Putin does this frequently. He uses prominent people as intermediaries to feel out the general political environment, to basically test how people are going to react to ideas….
This is a classic Putin play. It’s just fascinating, of course, that it’s Elon Musk in this instance, because obviously Elon Musk has a huge Twitter following. He’s got a longstanding reputation in Russia through Tesla, the SpaceX space programs and also through Starlink. He’s one of the most popular men in opinion polls in Russia… Elon Musk has enormous leverage as well as incredible prominence.
Putin plays the egos of big men, gives them a sense that they can play a role. But in reality, they’re just direct transmitters of messages from Vladimir Putin.
And then there is China. Matt Yglesias also warns that Musk is vulnerable to pressure from the Chinese government, suggests that the billionaire’s ties to the PRC deserve more scrutiny.
This is because Musk, like most global manufacturing executives these days, has extensive business dealings with China. And while there’s nothing wrong with that per se, it means Musk has to watch what he says regarding the PRC, not just in his personal capacity as a business executive but potentially in his institutional role as well….
Yglesisas notes that Tesla is “deeply enmeshed in China,” which is adept at leaning on Western businesses.
And no, we haven’t forgotten about Ye. Ye won’t let us forget about Ye. And the man is ultimately so forgettable, except when his mental problems goad him into being the troll of the day. Mediaite:

West has not stopped making comments about his theory Jews control the media and government since.
While he interviewed from the backseat of a car Monday night, West complained he is being censored by a “mafia” of Jews who own precisely 78 major news outlets.
“What I’m doing, I’m calling out the Jewish community as a whole to say, people say to me, ‘Aww… why is Ye upset at everybody?’” he said. ” West added:
The Jewish people that I’m talking about don’t have to understand, and that is that privilege that I’m not going to allow. When I wore the White Lives Matter t-shirt, the Jewish underground media mafia already started attacking me.
West complained a cabal of secretly powerful Jewish business moguls canceled some of his shows and that they refuse to refer to him as anything other than a rapper.
“They never call me a billionaire,” he added. “We never talked about even, on this one right here. Hey, tycoon, billionaire, visionary – inventor. These are never used.”
Maybe it’s because they were too busy calling West a dumb a$$. Ya spose?

Who is the really dumb one? Both. The difference is (and this is not the best way to say this but it’s the best I can come up with in a hurry) that Herschel is low evergy dumb whereas Ye is high energy dumb.
Tesla…a great car to help fascists take over the world. Buy one. Help putins’ genocide. Blow up children, rape little girls & grown women, target hospitals & apartment buildings with missiles. If you get wealthy enough…you can watch the explosions from space!!!!
There are other e-car manufacturers now and damned near all of them put out quality cars rather than the crap musk allows to be sold. Tesla vehicles are consistently at the bottom of vehicle ratings such as C.R. Now that it sounds like he is actually going to go ahead with the twitter acquisition, I bet more company money will be going to sinking that endeavor and less spent on the one that actually made him money (and could be used to actually design a vehicle that isn’t a piece of shit). He’s making a decision based on something other than business logic. Decisions like that tend to bite the decider in the ass: look at trump.
Kanye needs to have someone smack him upside the head and remind him that anti-semitism is not a good look and really looks bad on someone from a different marginalized people. This guy is another one operating outside of his field of expertise. It not only shows but can bite him in the ass: look at pillow man.
Maybe Kanye needs to remember his fans (the ones who buy his recordings and attend his concerts) aren’t going to hear him pontificate on business investments or how many “billions” of dollars he has or what “visions” he has; they’re going to hear him “rap.”
But, in fairness, big name white musicians also tend to be labelled as “rocker” or “country star” no matter their business acumen or wealth or “visions.” When you hear “Bruce Springsteen,” you don’t really hear about him described as a “millionaire” but rather as a “Jersey rocker.”
Today a story broke where tesla cars have killed 10 people who allowed the car to drive itself. The good news? The cars experienced no grief & no legal trouble.
