We have nothing to fear but fear itself   President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

There’s no big secret here. Kamala Harris, who has an IQ well above room temperature, unlike a certain Pampers President who shall remain unnamed, has her campaign sh*t well together. And I honestly believe that it’s going to get her over the finish line in style.

Here’s why. While Traitor Tot is going into battleground states, f*cking up the simple mechanics of shaking McDonald’s fries into a cardboard scoop, and wistfully indulging in his bi-curious envy of the size of golf icon Arnold Palmer’s 3-Wood, Kamala Harris is methodically hitting the trail to bank the kind of votes that can have Traitor tot modeling orange by this time next year.

This morning, Harris embarked on a one day, three battleground state town hall style tour with the courageous Liz Cheney. Every event was held in areas that tend to lean Republican, in a clear effort to try to convert the suburban Nikki Haley voters that His Lowness has turned his back on. And she absolutely nailed a critical message that nobody else in the media seems to have picked up on.

She did the same thing in all three events, using different wording and syntax depending on the way the question was asked, but in all three she had the same message, and it had to be music to the ears of persuadable Trump voters, especially women.

And she tackled head-on what I feel is the most critical message for trying to convert these renegade Haley voters to vote for her. She pulled an FDR. She directly brought up the dark, violent rhetoric of El Pendejo ex Presidente, and the unhinged reputation of his fascist criminal mob. She acknowledged the move as strictly out of the authoritarian playbook.

And then she turned it right back around on Trump and his brownshirts, with devastating effect. She said something akin to, But my friends, you really need to understand, we don’t need to be afraid. There are more of us than there are of them. We still have a civil society, we have the police to protect us. We are still free to vote! And if we all stand tall and do our part, we can once and for all turn the page on this dark chapter, and move on to a brighter, more positive future.

That’s why I said that she channeled her inner FDR. Trump’s whole campaign is based on the Hitler 1930’s model, let the goose steppers and bedsheet banditos show up in towns to march and spout sh*t, trying to cow the population into staying home and just forgetting it. A nice way to depress the Democratic turnout in critical places, assisted by local GOP attempts to make it easier for jackbooted thugs to intimidate at the polling places.

And Kamala Harris did what nobody in 1930’s Germany did. She threw down the gauntlet. This far and no further. We don’t have to be afraid of them! There’s more of us than there are of them, especially when we’re all congregated together in public like at a polling place. The police are there to protect us, and if we ignore their nasty stares, there’s nothing they can do to us.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. And today Kamala Harris reminded everyone that Trump is nothing but a paper tiger. Three weeks before January 6th Traitor Tot called the millions of hardcore right wing nutjobs to the Capitol for an insurrection.  He barely cleared 10,000, many of whom are now modeling prison orange. The only way to stop a bully is to bop him on the snoot, and today Harris threw three devastating left hooks. Don’t touch that dial.

I thank you for the privilege of your time.

  1. “We don’t have to be afraid of them! There’s more of us than there are of them.”

    Which is why we’ll win.

And then set out on the harder task of eliminating MAGA as any future threat.

It should go the way of The John Birch Society, lost in a fading of derision and irrelevancy.

  2. His thugs will still scare off older or single woman Democratic voters at the voting booths if they are standing outside with their weapons displayed. It wouldn’t make me afraid, just more convinced to vote. But someone like my mother who is close to 90 (and maga but would think the people with weapons were the evil democrats) would just walk away. Not vote, not contact police, not ask for help, just walk away. It is a terrible world that man is trying to create.

    • It’s hard for me to understand support for the Bronze Boob from police unions, but it looks like those doing so are either led by or have significant membership, or both, consisting of power-mad (“I AM the law!!!”) trigger-happy slugs who give the good cops a bad rep.
