Apparently, by some luck of the draw, Donald Trump Jr. was assigned the same courtroom sketch artist for The Trump Org.’s New York City fraud trial that made convicted bunko artist Sam Bankman-Fried look like a matinee idol last week.

Junior asked her for the same treatment:

“Donald Trump Jr. wanted his courtroom sketch to look “sexy” as he testified in his family businesses’ civil fraud trial.

The former president’s eldest son is one of the co-defendants in a trial brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James accusing the Republican and a number of others, including his sons, of fraudulently inflating the value of assets to obtain favorable loans and insurance deals. James is seeking at least $250 million in damages and a permanent ban on Trump and his sons running a business in the state of New York…

During his testimony yesterday, Trump Jr. denied knowledge or involvement in accounting practices at the company.

He acknowledged he had signed financial documents that the judge ruled were fraudulent in a partial summary, but suggested the blame lay with others who worked on the documents including his accountants.

But when not defending himself to prosecutors, during a morning recess in his testimony he yesterday had a light-hearted interaction with the courtroom artist, Jane Rosenberg.

“Make me look sexy,” he demanded, she told reporters.”

Tasked with the impossible, Rosenberg did the only thing she could… she drew someone else entirely:

Looks more like Eric, if you ask me… but still not “sexy”.

Ron Filipkowski, at Twitter, mined the comedy gold of the situation:

💯

🤣🤣🤣

That just screams sexy…🙄

Apparently.

You just described the whole family.

🤣🤣🤣

Yup

Now, THAT’S sexy.

🤣🤣🤣

Yup.

😆

If I were Jr., I would be more concerned with how many scores of millions Judge Engoron is going to fine the family business.

The Trump’s have crimed without circumstances for so long they can’t even conceive of ever having to pay a price.

  1. Having to make such a request is, when one thinks about it Junior acknowledging that he’s NOT sexy.

What the artist SHOULD have done is a sketch of whatever guy is the biggest international heartthrob these days, shirtless in fact in the witness chair. With a sign hanging from his nexk saying “I’m Don Jr.”

The funny thing is, his daddy who didn’t want him named Don Jr. objected when trophy wife #1 Ivana insisted saying “What if he turns out to be a loser?” Well, Trump made sure his namesake would be just that. Still, this kind of display of vanity might have, for a few seconds caused Trump to feel a sense of approval that he’d instilled some sense of Trumpiness into his son. Maybe even a muttered “That’s my boy” but of course that would have quickly passed.

    • My guess is he is thinking ahead to a criminal.case and wants to.make sure all the Aryan Brotherhood find him appealing so he has tattooed Nazis to protect him from 250 pound Black gang bangers who make Ahnuld look like 90 pound weaklings. Or am I giving him too.much credit for being to think that far ahead?

  2. Jr. you should be a bit more concerned about cash flow drying up. Fancy rehabs/club meds don’t come cheap. If you decide, ha, (like any addict really ‘decides’), to stay on snow mountain, snow don’t come cheap. Either way you’re boned. I guess there’s the joint as a backup plan. They will give you some shelter. This time lying could cost you.

  3. If I’d been the sketch artist, I’d have replied, “Buddy, you’ll be lucky if your own family recognizes you after I’m done with your picture–unless you cough up $50,000. In cash. Right now.”

For what it’s worth, that sketch at the top reminded me of van Gogh’s famous self-portrait:

    • Yes! There is an uncanny resemblance!!! But Van Gogh was a brilliant, creative, complicated, intuitive, AMAZING artist who suffered from depression and eventually, sadly, took his own life. Junior seems to have ZERO creative much less intuitive genes in his body. If he has ANY human genes, they must have come from his mother, Ivana. The only thing his father ever did for him was give him an inferiority complex. And now he’s an addict as well. Very sad. Maybe he thought he’d be able to fundraiser off the courtroom sketch…
