Melania looked very grim the other day when she was photographed in Manhattan. She didn’t accompany her hubby to Bedminster, she stayed in Trump Tower in Manhattan with her parents and presumably Barron. (Melania and parents were photographed on the street, Barron was not.) Naturally the question has become, “Will she support Trump at his Miami arraignment?” Most probably the same way she supported him when he was arraigned in Manhattan a few months back — by staying several states away from him.

This is called “standing by her man.” Intelligencer:

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”: It’s an axiom that holds true whether you’re thinking about adjusting the tape keeping your TV remote together or plotting your PR strategy after a family member is hit with multiple post-presidential indictments.

Melania Trump clearly understands this. After Donald Trump was indicted in early April over hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, the former First Lady opted to maintain physical distance from her husband while letting tabloids run stories insisting that she’s actually extremely supportive. Although Melania did not accompany her husband to his New York arraignment or subsequent rally at Mar-a-Lago, the New York Post’s sources insisted they were actually “closer than ever.”

Look at it from Melania’s perspective. She probably got the pre-nupt renegotiated when she agreed to be in the audience and on stage last November when Trump announced his candidacy for POTUS in 2024. She’s holding all the cards and she knows it. If Trump actually had a lawyer or two to spare, theoretically they could negotiate many things with Melania. But he doesn’t, so they don’t, and it’s anybody’s guess what’s really going on.

Melania’s support for her husband remained extremely private over the weekend. She did not release a statement of support, post any messages to Truth Social, or show up to her husband’s weekend appearances at Republican state conventions in Georgia and North Carolina. And while a source told the Post that Melania would head back to Florida by Tuesday along with her husband, she is not expected to join him for his latest arraignment. “Trump will be back at Mar-a-Lago, where his security is [better] and she will be with him,” said a “Page Six” source. “But she won’t be with him when he surrenders himself to authorities.”

Maybe this just shows that the Trumps are truly simpatico. When we’re told Melania is “standing by her husband” we’re meant to take her “seriously but not literally.

Oh, yeah. When she says “BeBest” we’re not stupid enough to think she means it. No, we get it. Melania is happy to support Trump and stand by him as long as he’s getting arraigned two and a half hours away (by plane) or more by car. That’s a level of support that only the two of them understand. Or, so we are told we should believe.

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

      • Nah. It’s stuffed inside Ivana’s dress, sealed up in her casket buried at there at Trump’s Bedminster golf club!

    • She isn’t attractive enough to be Natasha, and Natasha,Fatale had a much better body: an Eastern European version of Jane Russell. Malaria could only look.that good in her Fref even then with tummy tucks, butt lifts and breast umplants.

  1. Ah, but since she’s now a U.S. citizen is there another country (including the one she was born and raised in) that will grant her a Visa and let her in? Maybe that’s why she looked so grim in that photo in Manhattan – she was already trying to find a place on the other side of Atlantic to hide out and getting the brush off from the embassies of countries she was interested in “visiting for an unspecified length of time!”
