Lauren Boebert fancies herself as the new Sarah Palin, and that’s some ambition to have in and of itself. Nevertheless, that’s who she’s modeling herself after, with the glasses, and darkening her once-blonde hair. And it’s anybody’s guess if she thinks she’s starting up a new version of the Tea Party.
Boebert released this video a few days ago. It’s pretty outrageous to blame Nancy Pelosi for the barbed wire fence in Washington, considering that it was Donald Trump’s disciples rioting that occasioned the installation of the fence in the first place. Nevertheless, that’s Boebert’s spin. But it’s the last sound effect that puts this video in a class of its own.

I reported it. I think the discharge and cocking of the weapon is an implied threat of violence.

That, my friend, is the legacy of the reality TV actor. They want his money, his power, his notoriety. And they're using politics as the platform to get it. Boebert is a performer, just like Trump.

The only reason Boebert isn’t more hated right now (though my mother in Colorado assures me that the whole STATE wants her gone) is because Margarine Typhoid Gangrene is making a bigger fool of herself. She’s on her way to being a failed seeker of the Trump Grail. She will be far from alone.

I am very disappointed with these grandstanding, lazy elected representatives. They are unwilling to do the hard work and skate by with sound bites, outrageous behavior, and publicity stunts. Elected officials have never been angels, but this is absurd. I suppose they see that their role model got away with it for one term anyway, but where are people with ideals and principles, willing to do the work? Oh yes, currently in the White House! Hmm. Will that be enough?
I read Boebert’s ad or whatever it was as a veiled threat. If challenged, she will deny it.
If they want to quote Leonidas on their masks, why don’t they use the actual Greek letters?
Besides that, don’t they know that (a) Leonidas was leading the Spartan Army and not a bunch of ancient Greek ‘second amendment’ nuts and (b) the Persians DID come and take them (and wiped the Spartans out)
