You undoubtedly saw the Department of Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, dancing naked. It’s all over the internet and we wrote about it here. Turns out that was not an isolated incident. They rarely are, right? The argument was made, “He was in his own home.” And that’s a good argument. But the fact of the matter is that he acted like a perv when he was at work. Here’s the latest from Sean Duffy’s past. This is the kind of mind that stands between you and disaster while traversing our great nation. Don’t you feel better already?
On reality TV, Trump Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy begged for Bonnie, a production assistant, to remove his microphone because she was “hot.”
Duffy told Bonnie he was “getting a boner,” pretended to be overcome with pleasure, and motioned for her to move towards his penis. pic.twitter.com/6XnwibFW8U

I’ll tell you something. I had occasion to work behind the scenes in porn back in the 80’s and nobody acted this weird. I worked on a show with Marilyn Chambers called The Therapist. Seriously. You can’t make this stuff up. Read about it in this article “Came For the Politics, Stayed For the Sex.” I wrote it on an awful day when spam bots were putting explicit hard core porn pictures on this site. OMG, what an ordeal.
But back to Sean Duffy, the point I wanted to make was that even on a freaking porn shoot there were not people acting like this. Actors might have been naked, but they weren’t openly hassling the crew. This is some low life, adolescent behavior — which makes it perfectly clear why Donald Trump likes this guy so much. The question has been asked since his dancing clip this weekend, “Why weren’t these clips shown during his confirmation hearing?” Double dipped if I know. This is the only role in the workplace women should have, by Duffy’s lghts.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Vice President JD Vance joined President Trump on Sunday in blaming diversity hiring practices at the Federal Aviation Administration for the midair collision of a commercial jet and a military helicopter near Washington last week.
“The person at the controls didn’t have enough staffing around him or her because we were turning people away because of D.E.I. reasons,” Mr. Vance said on Fox News, using the abbreviation for diversity, equity and inclusion. “D.E.I. policies have led our air traffic controllers to be short staffed — that is a scandal.”
On Thursday, Mr. Trump, without evidence, linked his long-running complaints about diversity hiring practices to the crash near Ronald Reagan National Airport. The president quoted from the F.A.A. website, which he said had indicated that the agency was looking to hire people with disabilities.
No evidence suggests that diversity hiring programs contributed to the crash on Wednesday night. Those programs — some of which started or continued under Mr. Trump’s first term — followed the same aptitude, medical and security standards used for hiring candidates without disabilities. […]
Mr. Duffy suggested without offering evidence that efforts to diversify hiring had affected the quality of the work force at air traffic control towers.
“You can’t focus on diversity, equity and inclusion when you try to hire air traffic controllers,” Mr. Duffy said on Fox News. “You focus on the best and the brightest.”
Michael McCormick, a former vice president of the F.A.A. Air Traffic Organization who oversaw hiring of controllers during his tenure from 2011 to 2015, said in an interview that Mr. Trump, Mr. Vance and Mr. Duffy were making “baseless claims.” He characterized diversity programs as a recruitment tool for reaching out to candidates with minority backgrounds and said they did not compromise hiring standards.
When the F.A.A. makes a hiring decision after air traffic controller candidates go through training, he said, the agency “does not take into account gender, age, race, creed, color” but solely considers “the merits and the abilities of the individual.” Mr. McCormick worked for the F.A.A. for more than three decades and now teaches at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
All DEI does is encourage people to apply. It is not a guarantee of a job that one is not qualified for. But that’s the mentality of the Trump administration. Take a look at this.

I guess we should be grateful that they’re saying the quiet part out loud now. There is always something to be said for clarity.

If those white “men” are so competent, how come they get so demoralized so quickly?!?
Hey, remember when the Rs went nut house crazy over a video of AOC dancing many years earlier? At least she had her clothes on, and she can speak in complete, understandable, meaningful sentences. She got elected in her own right, so I guess it wasn’t DEI. She must be one of those competent women
I want to point out something about the Air Traffic Control System. In addition to holding up money needed for equipment upgrades for decades, early in his administration Reagan and PATCO, the then union for the controllers went at each other. Reagan summarily fired them all because having voted to go on strike he had legal means to do so rather than negotiate an agreement with them. Chaos ensued as you’d expect, and when it comes to personnel the system has NEVER recovered. From where I sit, a choice to start reaching out to a more diverse set of people to draw applicants for all those jobs that needed filling made a lot of sense. They sure as hell weren’t able to keep up with staffing needs via the old ways!
Still, as you say DEI only got people to apply. They STILL had to pass all the screenings and make it through training under the same standards as “old school” white males. Oh, and between shortages due to needed postions that never got filled after the PATCO firings AND retirements (burnout in that profession is high) we still have a crying need for more air traffic controllers! Not to mention needed upgrades to the systems at airports that track aircraft. One of the issues that already seems to be a target for the NTSB is the accuracy (or not) of the equipment monitoring the altitudes of the helicopter and the jet at the time of the crash. Something is off, at least if reporting that it showed the helicopter was at the max allowed height of 200 feet instead of the 300 feet the jet was at according to other data.
Sadly, that kind of detail and nuance isn’t something the average person wants to learn and think about anymore.
I can’t quite put the timing together, but whether this was in the production rooms of “The Real World” or deep in the bowels of FauxNews, Bonnie could easily have been someone that Rachel Campos-Duffy knew and around the time the Duffys met and got married (late 1990s; m. 1999). So at least Sean found someone among his co-workers who gave a damn about his boners! 🍆🤬 The couple has nine kids, so at least some of his boners were used for an appropriate purpose! 🍆 I guess.🤢
No, Darren, you don’t get it. White men are getting passed over because the women and minorities are better educated and have better experience. The bros being passed over are men who.only made it this far because they only had to compete with other equally mediocre white men.
I’m just disappointed the “Came For the Politics, Stayed For the Sex.” article doesn’t exist anymore! 😕
