Ohhh, how cool is this? You know, every time you turn around, the only real topic of conversation on the GOP side is how strong Trump’s hold on the party still is. Ron DeSantis was highly competitive until he set foot over the Florida border and opened his fat mouth. And nobody else in the prospective field has even hit the dime mark yet.
And that’s fine as far as the GOP primaries go. Trump’s Trombie base scarifies everybody else in the party like a Living Dead Saturday marathon at a theater. But if you want to grab the brass ring, you have to win the general election too.Â
And that’s where the wheels fall off of the Trump Klown Kar trolley. because once you get past the Trombie army of mouth breathers and bedwetters, Traitor Tot is about as popular as genital warts. And the secret to a Democratic landslide in 2024 is to keep those voters as scarified as hell to get them out to vote, or at least stay home.
And I’m here to help. I was listening to a recitation of Trump’s current legal problems on AYMANÂ tonight on MSNBC when a bolt if pure inspiration hit me. You want to keep Trump out of the White House, or pretty much any current GOP contender? Here’s the bumper sticker for you;
PARDON TRUMP IN ’25! VOTE GOP IN 2024!
Huh? Huh?! Sings like a birdie, doesn’t it? Because right now the only requirements in the US Constitution for being President is Be at least 35 years old on inauguration day, be a natural born US citizen, and have resided in the US for at least 13 years. That’s it. There’s no prohibition from a former convict running for President, or even a currently incarcerated convict. Which is why Eugene Debs ran for President against Roosevelt while sitting in the federal slammer.
How’s that for motivation? If Trump manages to not only survive the GOP primaries, and actually win the presidency, even if convicted, his first act after taking the oath of office would be to pardon himself for his federal crimes. And the way Jack Smith is going, you just know there are going to be some serious time federal charges.
And even if Trump loses, or is forced to drop from the race, the rest of the GOP field is no better. Notice how nobody in the field is directly confronting Trump? Even Nikki Haley, who is running in her own lane as the new leadership going forward for the GIO is not directly confronting or criticizing His Lowness. If anything manages to knock Trump from the field, a loyalty oath to pardon Trump will be mandatory for anybody else to get the Trump base votes. And just look at the current runner up has been in the GOP primaries, Florida Governor Ron Pissantis. He already knows that he owes his Governorship to The Tiny Thumbs Dictator. Sweet Jesus, Trump hadn’t even been indicted yet, and Flop Gov held a presser in which he promised to get his state troopers in a Mexican standoff with New York law enforcement to prevent a legally authorized extradition. You think his first act won’t be to pardon Trump? Any of them?
And that’s why we need to start the bumper sticker campaign. Polling shows that the majority of Americans want to See. Trump. Pay. And we need to educate them that if they vote for any 2024 GOP presidential candidate, FrankenTrump is going to stroll. Piece of cake. Sponge.
Well, one thing that scares me is that Trump MIGHT drop out of the GOP race *IF* he manages to get that “loyalty oath” to pardon him which allows whatever GOPer gets the nomination to tell Trump, “Well, you know if this comes out in the press–or is even hinted at–there’s no way I can win so, if I’m asked, I’ll just tell them it’s all a vicious rumor and that I categorically deny I would ever–EVER–think of using my Presidential pardon power for you but, just as soon as I take that oath of office, my very first act as President will be to pardon you of every crime the libs have charged you with. Pinky swear! Of course, you’ll have to attack me in the media for ‘betraying’ you but not so hard so your followers WILL turn out and vote for me but hard enough that independents won’t suspect anything.”
So, doing that–and barring any actual paper trail or audio/video recording of the deal–lets Trump’s base turn out and vote for the “traitor” AND it still lets independent voters and the “NeverTrumpers” turn out for “not Trump” so that the GOPer manages to win the election.
The scariest part, of course, is the GOPer then DOES betray Trump and lets him rot in whatever Federal prison Smith’s prosecution leads to and then proceeds to work with the GOPers in Congress to continue the GOP/Trump agenda. With Trump in that Federal prison (and stripped of any privileges to have access to social media), Trump’s “base” will melt away to the “traitor,” especially as that agenda continues to “punish” the libs and all the minorities who dared to think they were equals to decent White Christians.
No president can pardon trump for State charges tho can they ?
