A national presidential campaign isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Potential candidates start making fundraising phone calls, and sending out preliminary feelers in early primary states about two years out. If the money and interest is there, they start making early in person visits to the early primary states, gauging enthusiasm.

But if you’re lucky enough to make it, then from the last 100 days going forward, it is a sprint to the finish line. Or as they say in horseracing, Here they come out of the far turn, sprinting for the wire!

Which means that for those last 100 days, the campaigns on both sides are, or should be obsessed with nothing than maximizing every last ounce of energy they can muster to get over the finish line. The campaign mantra is, Work for 100 days, sleep on November 6th.

The Harris campaign already has Everything they are doing, everything they are plotting, everything they are considering is measured and compared against the remaining calendar days to roll it out with maxumum effect. This is why the naming of David Plouffe to the Harris campaign was a masterstroke. Plouffe is the guy who did his homework on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Trump campaign on the other hand, has a serious problem. Mainly because it isn’t a traditional, functional political campaign. Just like the MAGA congress, and the MAGA movement in general, it’s a cult. And in a cult, there is only one person who makes the ultimate decisions, Glorious Bleater.

And right now, Traitor Tot’s head clearly isn’t in the game. In fact, Trump’s head couldn’t be further from the game if he was sitting in the passenger seat of that tesla cruising towards Alpha Centauri I. Trump is like a man on the phone with the IRS, while a process server is banging on the door to serve him his mortgage foreclosure papers, and the Hawk is towing his car away. He has more important things to worry about than the campaign.

And while Trump’s winning the presidency back is critical in his quest to stay out of either/and or state and federal prison, other sh*t keeps intruding on his attention. Let’s take a look;

Kamala Harris – We’ll start with the campaign woes. Trump has been running for election for more than three years now, but he’s been the laziest sumbitch ever to run. Simply because his whole campaign was based on eventually running against Sleepy Joe Biden.

And now instead, he’s running against a charismatic, career prosecutor, Senator and Vice President 19 years his junior. Harris is relentlessly attacking him on his age and his criminality, and worst of all, he doesn’t scare her one llittle bit. He can’t brand her, and he can’t pigeonhole her, mostly because he’s distracted by the rest of this sh*t.

Judge Juan Merchan – By the appearances of all of the public facing filings so far, Judge Merchan is ready to sentence Traitor Tot on September 18th. That’s six weeks before the general election, and just when early voting is starting to lick in in most states. And it appears highly likely that Merchan will sentence Traitor tot to some form of involuntary incarceration. Whether it’s a stint in Rikers Island, or home confinement with an ankle monitor and no visitors is to be determined.

Either way, it’s a nightmare scenario for His Lowness. While whatever sentence he receives will likely be held in abeyance pending his appeals, there’s nothing worse than having a major party presidential candidate being a sentenced felon. This is keeping him up at night.

The New York Appellate Court – Right now the oral arguments in Trump’s civil fraud suit are scheduled for December. This could end up costing El Pendejo ex Presidente some $454 million he doesn’t have, leading to the dismantling of his company. As solid as the case is, the decision could come quickly, and there is no presidential immunity to fall back on. With Trump’s popularity in New York, an appeal before the state Supreme Court would be like pissing in a fan, and there is little chance that the SCOTUS would take up a state civil case.

Judge Tanya Chutkan – Last week the United States Supreme Court officially remanded Trump’s January 6th case back to her court. This means that once again it is an active criminal case under her jurisdiction. And Chutkan apparently is not only not wasting any time, she’s hell-bent-for-leather to make up for lost time.

Usually, in the media, people normally hear about the defendants right to a speedy trial. But that gate swings both ways, because the people also have a right to a speedy trial to determine guilt or the lack thereof. Especially in a a case on national interest, and Chutkan isn’t forgetting that.

She has already scheduled a hearing for August 16th in her courtroom to establish the parameters by which she will interpret the Supreme Court ruling on what constitutes an official act. That may turn out to be nothing more than both sides filing written opinions, followed by oral arguments, after which Judge Chjutkan will issue a formal decision. It could also be a mini trial, with expert witnesses offering testimony. But either way, the case is moving forward with due dispatch.

Let’s be honest. Whatever Chutkan decides, if it’s not full exoneration for Trump, it is going to be appealed. But the simple fact is that the case is so strong that, if Trump isn’t reelected, some time next year he’ll be facing criminal charges in a federal court. Especially if he loses in November, and the Supreme Court is ready to wash their hands of him.

Special Counsel Jack Smith – Smith is a hard charging, career prosecutor, and he has Trump in his sights. You can bet your ass that, as we speak, Smith has his legal sharks scouring every last document and piece of evidence in his six count indictment, critically looking for anything that might even possibly be construed as an official act. Should it considerably weaken his case, Smith will drop and tailor the counts, not only  to strengthen his case, but to present to Judge Chutkan the best possible case to survive the appellate process. Smith wants Trump’s hide on his wall, and he’ll tailor his case to get the job done.

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals – That’s where Special Counsel Jack Smith’s appeal of Kindergarten Judge Aileen Cannon’s imbecilic decision to drop Trump’s documents criminal charges now rest. The 11th circuit has already reversed Cannon twice, with unusual judicial vitriol. If they overturn her again, even the Supreme Court won’t be able to make sense out of the moronic jigsaw puzzle logic she used to defend her position. It’s highly likely that sometime in the middle of next year, Trump will be a criminal defendant in a Florida court under a different judge.

There it is. At this time in a presidential campaign, the candidate should be as obsessed by the campaign as his staff is. But instead, Traitor Tot is obsessed by everything but the presidential campaign. And that is not a match made in heaven.

I thank you for the privilege of your time.

  1. The new Harris administration will waste no time supervising the courts but will merely let them rule on his obvious guilt.

    And upon conviction, his incarceration.

  2. Besides all his legal distractions, he could possibly be less mentally functioning. I suspect that is part of his situation.

  3. “The 11th circuit has already reversed Cannon twice, with unusual judicial vitriol. If they overturn her again, even the Supreme Court won’t be able to make sense out of the moronic jigsaw puzzle logic she used to defend her position.”

I would phrase that second sentence a bit differently. Something along the lines of “If they overturn her again, only Alito and Thomas will be able to make sense out of the moronic jigsaw puzzle logic she used to defend her position.” Don’t forget that Cannon largely relied on a “wink-wink, nudge-nudge” from Thomas to develop her inane crap. Whether Roberts, Coney Barrett, Kavanaugh and Gorsuch will be willing to go along with the nonsense is up for grabs.

    • I suspect the other four cons will go along with her. The last thing the imbeciles on the s.c. want is someone in the w.h. pushing for rules that apply to ALL federal courts-including the s.c. Everything they are doing points to the fact they want to continue their corruption for as long as possible. A Harris presidency would definitely put a monkey wrench in their scheming.

  4. Two reasons Trump.is desperate to win:
    1) He hates being a loser
    2) He is terrified if jail, with good reason. How long would he last in gen pop or isolation for his protection?
