Dude! Can ya help a brother out? Moderate republicans to Trump
God I love it when they eat their young! Let’s start with this. Traitor Tot is unhinged. True, Trump has always been unhinged, but ever since that jury slapped his ego 34 straight times, and he became a convicted felon, Trump is totally obsessed with one thing and one thing only. Revenge.
The funny thing is that it’s getting so extreme that even some of his staunchest supporters are trying to talk him down off the ledge with a little interview intervention. In an interview recently with FUX News faux star Sean Hannity, Hannity asked him almost incredulously if he would really jail political opponents without due process if he were reelected, Trump simply replied, Yes. They rigged everything anyway. With an incredulous voice, Hannity followed up, Think about this Sir. You’d really overturn the rule of law for petty revenge? To which Trump earnestly replied, Yes, I would. After all, they rigged the system again st me!
Disgraced sham shrink Dr Phil fared no better. I’ll give him credit, he tried to use logic. But you can also reason with a barnyard animal until hyou’re blue in the face. Sir, if you’re reelected, if everything is as dire as you say it is, once you’re sworn in, aren’t you going to be a bit too busy fixing things to take time for petty vengeance? Nice try Phil, but logic has never worked on Trump, No, this is important and has to be dealt with. What they did to me was disgraceful, and somebody has to make it stop! Unfortunately Dr Pill lacked the integrity and cojones to follow up and ask El Pendejo Presidente how him unjustly jailing opponents would somehow break the cycle of unjust prosecutions.
From what I’ve heard, this prattle has become an almost compulsive subject for His Lowness on the campaign trail. In his rally in Arizona, he returned to the subject so often that some people are starting to refer to his rallies as the convicted felon tour.
This is nothing new for Trump. With the attention span of a newt, Trump has always had the propensity to hammer the same point home ad nauseum on the campaign trail;
- In the 2016 GOP primaries Trump claimed that the RNC was rigging the primaries against him, an d if he didn’t get the nomination, he’d take his 37% base and run as a 3rd party
- In 2016, months before the first votes were cast, much less counted, Trump was preparing his slobbering horde of disaster by claiming that the election ws being rigged against him
- In office, Trump kept his supporters on tenderhooks by obsessively inventing and ranting against vast Immigrant caravans descending unopposed on the southern border
- After his defeat in 2020, it was nonstop Stop the Steal! This led to Trump’s bullsh*t mantra that January 6th was one giant lovefest, Woodstock without the music. This was the final straw for many GOP voters, and led directly to the 2022 red puddle
But, by not only its unrelentless repetition as well as its nonsensical whine blaming for clearly true events, it did serve a useful purpose for what laughingly passes as the moderate GOP. Ir provided them with a simple, clearcut, comprehensible excuse for Trump’s erratic, churlish behavior.
He’s full of sh*t.
It’s that simple, and in proper context can be quite effective. In fact you’re already beginning to hear it from moderates running from Trump like a scalded cat. Especially when confronted by reporters about Trump’s strident claims of unjustly jailing political prisoners without due process. The answer is unfailingly a variation of this theme;
Come on guys, you know better than that. Trump is full of sh*t, he’s always been full of sh*t. Check his history. He picks out a bitch fit of the week, mutters dark threats of illegal sh*t, and when the rubber meets the road, he doesn’t do a goddamned thing. If he gets back in, it’ll be the same old sh*t, but the administration will be normal and functional. The adults in the room will keep it on the rails.
As I’ve written it out, and backed it up with facts, it does make a comforting kind of sense. And i9t gives moderate GOP members a soothing and comforting message to relay to other moderates without a microphone that this is nothing new. Same old erratic Trump. There’s just one small problem.
Trump’s MAGA wing, especially in the House is cutting them off at the knees. It’s one thing to reassure the moderate base that it’s the same old Trump bullsh*t, but that the party is still in control. But look at what the party itself is doing;
- 8 MAGAt’s in the Senate signed a letter announcing that they will boycott all Biden legislation and appointments for the remainder of the term in protest of Trump’s unjust conviction in New York
- House MAGAt’s are pushing to bring a bill to the floor for a vote on a bill that would force any state criminal charges against a current or former President to be automatically moved to federal court for trial and disposition
- Sham House Judiciary Chairman Gym Bag Jordan wants to subpoena both Alvin Bragg as well as Fulton County Da in front of the Judiciary committee for a grilling over their legally obscene treatment of Trump
- House Squeaker MAGA Mike Johnson is personally calling on the Supreme Court, in language that hints at his intimate friendship with at least some of them, to intrude on a state criminal process before due process has been completed, and overturn his convictions
- House MAGAr’s are introducing legislation that would bar the Manhattan DA’s Office from receiving any federal funds until they come to their senses
- Machine Gun Marjie is demanding legislation that would defund Special Counsel Jack Smith’s prosecutions of Trump on federal charges
- More House MAGAt’s are screaming that the very appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith is unconstitutional, despite despite the fact that the appointments of Special Counsels is already established, precedent law
Here’s the rub. The moderates in the GOP are trying to reassure the voters that while Trump may have gotten a hold of the car keys and a bottle of Jack, they put a Denver Boot on the front left wheel. Everything is fine. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.
But the problem is that the people I referred to are not Trump, and they’re not brain dead Trump mongoloid supporters. These are elected GOP members of the US House and Senate. And they are making it crystal clear with bullhorns for all who care to listen that, should Trump be reelected, they will gleefully and enthusiastically render all available assistance for Traitor Tot to dismantle the US Justice system, and likely set up gulags in Alaska to ship political prisoners to.
Ah, the best laid plans of mice and men. The entire 2024 strategy for the moderate GOP wing was to convince everybody that while Trump might be batsh*t crazy, everybody else was to9tally sane and cool, and the administration would come through with rock solid conservative legislation.
But when a good size chunk of elected GOP House and Senate members are all in on helping Traitor Tot realize his every nihilistic dream, it kind of starts to ring hollow. And since Trump is only going to get worse, and his minions are only going to get worse, it only makes it worse for the GOP to sugar coat the sh*t show they’re running.
I thank you for the privilege of your time.

Sugar-coated sh!t is still sh!t.
It doesn’t turn into confectionery, it’s just a waste of sugar.
“More House MAGAt’s are screaming that the very appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith is unconstitutional, despite despite the fact that the appointments of Special Counsels is already established, precedent law”
Here’s hoping former President Clinton chimes in on this little matter. I mean, Ken Starr was deemed an “independent counsel” but that term was formally replaced in 1999 with the currently preferred “special counsel” with NO real changes to the power(s) or authority assigned the role.
Also, he might be the one that can it through the overly thick skulls of these moronic MAGAt “legislators” that even their beloved idol didn’t have any problems with “special counsels” as there were TWO of them assigned during Trump’s time in office (Robert Mueller who “oversaw” the Russian interference in the 2016 elections and John Durham who’d apparently been operating as a special counsel–for the same interference investigation–for TWO MONTHS before his role had been formally announced in December 2020; the latter done so that the investigation could continue after what Barr assumed would be the end of the Trump administration–apparently Barr hadn’t been in the loop regarding Trump’s intent to stay in office after January 2021). I’m guessing the MAGAts don’t care about those since those special counsel investigations would be of benefit to Trump (what was that about Biden’s “politicizing” the DOJ, again?).
They’re fine with a special counsel when it is,an “investigation” of Dems. And once Starr, their witch hunter,,put down his copy of Malice Malifecarum, and recalled to a college, his successor found no.evidence of anything other than Clinton getting blowjobs from an intern, which isn’t illegal
“Ah, the best laid plans of mice and men. The entire 2024 strategy for the moderate GOP wing was to convince everybody that while Trump might be batsh*t crazy, everybody else was to9tally sane and cool, and the administration would come through with rock solid conservative legislation.”
Don’t you mean the “2016 strategy?” We’re obviously well past the time of believing “everybody else was totally sane and cool” since so many of the “moderate GOP wing” have now seen that was all BS. And any self-described “moderate” on the GOP side who believes that “while Trump might be bat—- crazy, everybody else was totally sane and cool” either has left Congress (and the party as a whole, in some cases) or is perfectly fine and willing to “go with the bat—- crazy flow” from the extremists in the party who support Trump 1000% no matter the cost to the Party, much less the country.
Stating Von Shitzinpantz is “full of shit” is like stating the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Probably doesn’t need to be said since everyone with at least two functioning brain cells know this almost instinctively. Says a lot about magats’ brain power or lack thereof.
I’d rather watch Jack Nicholson become unglued in The Shining. At least he had a good excuse for his murderous rampage…evil spirits conspired against him. Oh…that’s right…WE’RE the evil spirits trying to bring down these fine ‘christians’. They’re just trying to ‘correct’ us, as the former caretaker of the Overlook Hotel, Mr. Grady, did, who took an axe to his wife and twin daughters. Makes sense now. Right?
If he’s reelected,,I wonder how long it will be before their kind of Christianity becomes the law. This court might agree, unless they realize that such a state religion would apply to Catholicism.
