‘He’s A Loser! Nikki Haley Shreds Trump In A Fiery Speech And The Crowd Goes Wild

If there’s one thing you can say about Nikki Haley, it’s that she’s persistent. As much as I hate her policies and her anti-abortion, anti-LGBTQ+ stance I’m glad she’s kicking Donald Trump in public. Because he has been downright racist in attacking her, mocking her first name — Nimarata, and making dumb birtherism claims again. Even though she is confirmed to have been born in South Carolina before.

But facts aren’t something Trump generally concerns himself with. As we’ve all discovered after dealing with him for four years.

But while Haley may have lost the New Hampshire primary, she’s not going anywhere, and neither are her supporters, according to Mediaite.

Some pundits claim that in the wake of her defeat, her candidacy can’t continue much longer as the South Carolina primary, which is set for February 24 looms. And this is a state where Trump holds a significant lead in the polls. But don’t count the former South Carolina governor out. She’s not giving up easily and vows to keep going.

“the race is far from over,” she announced in front of the crowd that had gathered to hear her.

She briefly congratulated Trump for his victory in New Hampshire but was right back to calling the former president out for his loss to President Joe Biden and the heavy losses Republicans dealt with during the 2022 midterm elections. And her crowd jumped right in to mock Trump with one individual calling him a loser.

“With donald trump, republicans have lost almost every competitive election. we lost the Senate. We lost the white house. we lost in 2018. we lost in 2020, and we lost in 2022. The worst-kept secret in politics is how badly the democrats want to run against donald trump.”

“trump’s a loser! he’s a loser!” the crowd yelled.

Haley then responded by saying “They know Trump is the only Republican in the country who Joe Biden can defeat. You can’t fix the mess if you don’t win an election. A Trump nomination is a Biden win and a Kamala Harris presidency. I defeat Biden handily.”

“with donald trump, you have one bout of chaos after another. this court case, that controversy, this tweet, that senior moment. you can’t fix joe biden’s chaos with Republican chaos.”

Then she whipped up a fresh batch of barbs for the former president, challenging his mental competency to serve as president again at his age and once again demanded he face her on a debate stage.

“the other day, donald trump accused me of not providing security at the capitol on january 6th. now, know i’ve long called for mental competency tests for politicians over the age of 75,” haley told the crowd. “maybe he would. maybe he wouldn’t. but if he thinks that, then he should have no problem standing on a debate stage with me.”

I’ll be surprised if Trump agrees to that. I’m quite sure he’ll chicken out. But you know who doesn’t seem to have trouble, mentally? Joe Biden. Sure, he makes the occasional gaffe, and has even at one point, fallen off his bike. But he gets back on, and as noted by The Independent after fact-checking Biden’s so-called mental decline “There’s virtually no evidence that Biden is in cognitive decline, and a lot of evidence — including the successful debt ceiling negotiations — that he remains fully able to do his job.”

As for Trump, if he did debate Haley, I think she’d make mincemeat out of him. I don’t know how much longer she’s going to run but despite the fact that I give her points for going up against Trump, I have to remember that she’s just about as repressive as Trump would be. The fact that she didn’t mention anything about slavery being the cause of the Civil War, that’s a Republican red flag if there ever was one. She’s also anti-abortion and has said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Don’t Say Gay” law doesn’t go far enough.

She is not likely to be the Republican Party’s nominee for president, but she could very well run again in 2028 and these are things we should keep in mind when the time comes.
