We live in a post parody world. I’m not sure when exactly that line was crossed but probably in 2016, when we had a candidate running for POTUS who was clearly in the employ of Vladimir Putin. You may recall a certain former Speaker Of The House, Kevin McCarthy, telling the then-Speaker Paul Ryan, “I’m sure there are two people Putin pays. One is [Dana] Rohrabacher and the other is Trump.” Ryan’s response was, “That stays in the family, right?”
So Parody was well on the way to her grave that day. What you’re about to see is something that I would defy the writers at SNL or the people at The Onion to cobble together. So what comedy outlet is this emitting from, you ask? This is for real, is the only answer I can give you. Listen to both these clips. I would ask why Hawley doesn’t attack Biden’s policies, since that’s what he was elected to do is implement policies and not to be an arbiter of Xianity but why bother? Many decades ago I had a short-lived relationship with a submissive woman. It was short-lived because frankly being a proper (and loving) dominant was more effort than I wanted to give. Well, we all know that Mike Pence doesn’t treat “Mother” (actual name, Karen–how’s that for irony?) as though he’s “putting her in her place.” I mean, it’s “MOTHER” who forbids “good ol’ boy” Mike from being alone in a room with another (unrelated) woman. That doesn’t sound like Mike’s in charge of the marriage. A man who’d “put his wife in her place” wouldn’t allow her to dictate anything to him. If he wants to be alone with a woman to whom he’s not related (by blood or marital bond), then, by God, he’s going to be alone with her. And, more importantly, he’s going to do whatever he wants to with her–talk or sing show tunes or sleep with her, that’s his “God-given right” as a man.
Of course, in the Bible (the New Testament specifically), marriage was “discouraged” because, you know, Jesus was going to be coming back any day now and it was seen as a waste of energy for the “Faithful.” BUT . . . . . Paul recognized that, well, men had “needs” and “urges” that just couldn’t always be constrained so he said that *IF* a man just had to give in to his physical lust, THEN he should find a woman to marry him (preferably, of course, another of the Faithful). Paul, of course, wasn’t concerned about a woman’s physical needs or wishes in the matter.
Mother Pence not only had sex before marrying Milquetoast Mike, she was a,divorcee. After he got Jebuzzed,he considered not pursuing their relationship because she committed the sin of divorce!
Well to get Josh out of the way. I distinctly remember Joe saying he didn’t know why we needed to make America great again. Which is what he just said. Now Lucas Kunce has a different take on that and it’s more lined up with what Biden did say. The soul of America is at a crossroads. This is the lifeblood of the country. It’s not something out of a Bible. It always has me shaking my head when some clown goes and does something that would flat get you thrown out of Heaven then run and find a Bible and try to preach scripture. Either your going to cuss and fart or you are going talk in the Lords language and pass wind. You can’t do both. Joe Biden doesn’t try to. The soul of America is the ability of its people to come together and solve their problems by talking them through and reaching out to the other side and making compromises to get a deal done when no one thought you could do it. And if Josh Hawley didn’t have his head so far up his ass he would be able to see that. But Hawley is a moron and a coward. Be a man in fourteen chapters or something like that. The last person I would go to for advice is Josh Hawley. For one thing. I fell a few years back and have some permanent injuries that preclude me running.
