Ah yes, the gentleladies and gentlemen that comprise the Republican side of the House of Representatives. What a group of folks they are. What you’re about to see (and hear — and you do want to hear this) is footage of Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) calling a police officer filthy names. Raw Story:

Newly released body camera footage from the incident at a rodeo in Amarillo, Texas, earlier this month sheds some new light on why police briefly detained Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) after he intervened to allegedly help someone in a medical emergency, reported The Daily Beast on Monday.

“The Department of Public Safety released the 31-minute, partially audible video of Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson on Monday,” reported A.J. McDougall. “In the footage, Jackson, once former President Donald Trump’s physician, can be seen trying to help a 15-year-old girl who officials said was having a seizure. The trooperrepeatedly asked Jackson to step back and let paramedics take over, according to The Texas Tribune.”

On the footage, Jackson erupted at the trooper, saying, “I’m gonna call the governor tomorrow and I’m gonna talk to him about this sh*t because this is f**kin’ ridiculous,” and “You are a f**king full-on d*ck! You better recalculate, motherf**ker!”

Jackson was cuffed and detained, but ultimately later released without being arrested.

Nothing but the best people, right?

I asked a friend of mine in A.A. recently, “Did your drinking career include getting handcuffed at a rodeo?” He said, “Nope, the good doctor has one up on me.”

  1. In my professional life dealing with people having seizures was part of the job. So I’ve seen a lot of them and assisted people experiencing them. As well as called in a higher level of medical intervention instead of next of kin. Or before next of kin. Frankly, if I were prone to seizures I’d much rather have paramedics tending to me than Ronny Jackson! Dr. “Candyman.” Maybe he interferred enough to open himself up to a malpractice claim? Oh please let it be so because the premium on his “tail” policy (a form of malpractice insurance to cover those who no longer practice medicine for a living – both for claims from when they were active & regular practitioners or for medical interventions they might make in some situations in the future) will go through the roof!
