The Brits are not the only ones to troll Trump with John McCain’s image. Radio host Chip Franklin made an appearance on Fox News, of all places, and he held up a picture of McCain, “to show Trump the hero he would never be.”

Franklin probably won’t get asked back to Fox again. As you saw in the clip, the host said, “this went off the rails.” No, Trump went off the rails, long long ago. But the world is watching and it’s fighting back. Good.
As Americans, we really owe a duty to the rest of the civilized world to get this bum out of office. Seriously.
It will be generations, if ever before the rest of the world including our strongest allies place great trust in the United States again. I keep pointing out the reaction (including our allies) when Bush 43 won re-election – newspaper headlines were mostly variations on the them of how sixty million Americans could be so stupid. Bush 43 came to be considered an aberration thanks to Obama’s two terms. However, over sixty million Americans voting for Trump who was so obviously and manifestly unfit in every way told the world two (bad) things.
First, Bush 43 wasn’t an aberration at all.
Second, we could do worse. Far worse in fact as Trump has proven.
IOW the rest of the world including our allies now know that sixty million plus Americans are indeed that fucking stupid. And worse, dangerously so.
Agree totally. If Trump wins re-election, there’s no way we can argue that he was an aberration. We will be making a statement to the world, “This is who America is.” I cringe at that prospect. I cannot tell you how much I cringe at that prospect.
If Trump is a one-term president and we get a Democrat back in the White House, then we can claim, “Whew, the country took a really wrong turn, but now we’re back on course.” If he gets re-elected — I don’t even want to think about it. Like Nancy Pelosi said in an interview, “Imagine what it would be like if we didn’t take back the House — no don’t think about it.”
The fact that we DID take back the House and so many people came out to vote gave me great encouragement.

I think the holograms are hilarious. The big protest is scheduled for Tuesday, so that should be interesting to watch. (But so far Trump hasn’t seen a protester, he tweets.) Right.
I love the holograms — the USS John McCain hate and approval ratings ones are great. How does he even know there are protestors if he hasn’t seen them, at least on TV or his Twitter feed? I hope he sees those!
