It’s hard to ascertain on any given day which is the worst-run state in the Union, Texas or Florida. It’s hard to know which is worse, people freezing to death in their beds, or hoping that toxic sludge waste is not, in fact, radioactive. Opinions? And this is all against the backdrop of high COVID-19 rates, because, hey, not going to let those sissy libs tell us Amurikins to wear a mask, right? That’s too unmanly.

Macho Macho Man Greg Abbott went on record today against Joe Biden’s undermining of fundamental liberties — which is how sane and safe gun control laws are viewed by the gun fetishists.

About two hours later, a shooting occurred in a cabinet factory in Bryan, Texas. Six ambulances arrived at the scene. It’s not been ascertained how many people were injured or how severely.

But let’s keep the lunatic fringe supplied with plenty of guns and ammo, right? The Second Amendment provides for the right to bear arms, with an eye towards protecting one’s residence and person. That’s honorable. What has happened in this country is not that. Guns are not used for home protection, they are used as objects of violence and terror in the streets of America. That’s the problem. Abbott won’t see it. Abbott needs to go for a lot of reasons, this is just one more.

That’s the guy. That’s his legacy.

    • I can only hope. I am beyond fed up with him all the other demagogues, as in Dan Patrick, Paxton, Cruz and Cornyn. I used to think Rick Perry was unbearable and then these guys came along.

  1. So Gov. Abbott hates Texans. He lets them die in one shooting after another and then let’s them freeze to death in the dark with his tinkertoy power grid. And now he doesn’t give a damn about who gets Covid-19.

It seems that Texas has absolutely nothing to say about school kids getting their shots do they? Because this Coronavirus is dangerous. But everything to prevent it is considered to threaten freedumb. Abbott should be given Covid-19 and left to die in the uninhabited section of the west Texas desert.
