I am so grateful to Congressman Gosar. Aren’t you? I mean, how many people are there in government who are of such a caliber of intellect that they come up with mesmerizingly deep statements  — and then have to delete them because the common rabble, you and me, simply don’t possess the intellect to grasp their subtle wonder?

If you missed the furor, Gosar is in Trump’s camp and tweeted support of Trump’s plan to terminate the Constitution.

Then there was hew and cry and now Gosar’s spokesperson has come up with a really whack-a-mole theory as to what really happened.

Talking Points Memo:

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) spokesman Anthony Foti claims that bad-faith actors and “low IQ people” were “unable to comprehend” Gosar’s Wednesday tweet — supporting former President Donald Trump’s unhinged call to terminate the Constitution — prompting the Arizona lawmaker to delete his post.

“No one in Congress has fought for Constitutional values more than Congressman Gosar,” Foti told Business Insider. “He is known as a strict constitutionalist for good reason. He has a decade of votes proving that.”

“President Trump has reissued his statement to clarify what he meant,” he continued. “Those who claim either Trump or Congressman Gosar don’t believe in the Constitution are acting in bad faith or are low IQ people unable to comprehend our language and our actions.”

You see how simple it is? Paul Gosar is fine. He’s not a traitor. He’s a great mind. You’re the moron.

I guess the staffer never heard the old adage about the coverup being worse than the crime, so don’t do it, for that very reason.

  1. Paul Gosar is one scary looking dude! I remember watching his sister either on CNN or MSNBC saying the man definitely has mental issues. Just by his facial expressions, he simply looks dangerous! Why won’t these old fuks retire and go play golf or bake cookies!!!! :/

  2. It’s hue and cry. In medieval times, before police forces, citizens could be legally required to join a pursuit of a robber or other criminal if someone raised a hue and cry along the lines of “stop that thief!”
