This is getting predictably crazy and in record time. Rudy Giuliani’s home and office were raided by the FBI Wednesday and laptops and phones were confiscated, which means that the word “laptops” will now default to mean Rudy’s and not Hunter Biden’s. That is not setting well a tall a tall with the former mayor. Also MAGA is now being translated — and not for the first time — as My Attorneys Get Attorneys. And indeed they do. Roy Cohn worked for Trump, ended up disbarred, although it was his other stellar client, Joseph McCarthy that really swung that bat. Then Michael Cohen worked for Trump and he ended up disbarred and behind bars. And now along comes Rudy, strike three. The prognosis is not good.
Rudy hired Bob Costello to represent him and Costello issued this scorching initial statement. When the defense starts out at 11 on a scale of 10, you know things are very hot in the kitchen. (Apologies that this isn’t more legible, best I could do.)

yes, they raided Toensing’s place and collected phones (if not more). Apparently Ukrainians have been talking to the FBI – remember that Rudy and Toensing went to Ukraine to “find” dirt on Biden, right about when Yovanovich was fired as ambassador (because she was too honest)..
