The Furkids decided to begin this new year by envisioning the world they want to live in as a meditation to music. I asked them about their image of God, as their chosen song is both meditation and prayer. They explained that, in their spiritual awareness, the Creator is Love and the embodiment of Lifeforce, a spark of which is within us, giving our bodies life. They attach no gender to the Creator, though cats do refer to ‘Ceiling Cat’, whom they envisage as a mothering goddess. I adopted their belief for the illustrations.
