After the success of illustrating lyrics to the orchestral section in the second half of a song, the Furkids decided to try illustrating a ballad with the instrumental section in the first part of the song. The piano plays the melody so it’s easy to follow along.

However, this involves them writing their own lyrics which is always exasperating because they have some really odd ideas fun. In the second half of the song, you’ll hear and be able to sing the original lyrics along with the choir.

The choice of song was mine this week. It’s been one of my enduring favourites ever since I first heard it as a child, long ago last century. The recording on the video is also the same one I listened to back then when I became – and remain – the hugest fan of the pianist.

So here is Till played by the wonderful Roger Williams. We are dedicating it to Suzanne who gave us a very generous gift last week for which we are very very grateful. Thank you, Suzanne. 🤗💖🤗

Now we’re all set! The jukebox is full of coins provided by the Furkids’ Aunt Suzanne and the rest is easy. Just press play, scroll down to the illustrated lyrics and sing along!

Furkids love the frothy milkshakes at ko-fi.com/furkids. They want you to know they love licking up their frothy moustaches. You can treat them to their favourite frothies for $3/€3/£3. All proceeds go towards Loula’s healthcare — our heartfelt thanks to all contributors. 💝 💖 💝
