The Furkids first heard this song when social media DJ @LennaLeprena played it on Rock Station Lenna, the music time machine. Not many of them were around in 1976 when the song was first released, so for most, it was the first time they’d heard it. It was an instant favourite.
It’s as much about the hoomins who live with furkids as the Furkids themselves. We do all sorts of things for them because we love them, and they reciprocate in the most adorable ways.
It should be noted that they did insist on adjusting the lyrics in a couple of places. You’ll never convince them that hoomin songwriters get the lyrics right every time.
